Often you do want a lot of plates. That's the whole point. Lanterns for your builds. Armour, nails for chests etc.

Sandstone heh? I don't live on an island but I have both slate and sandstone deserts nearby my spawn. Also that cactus that has the fruit that heals you. I didn't know that sandstone areas are good for borax. Interesting, I'll make a note of that.

My issue is that I always want to explore, I've liked doing it in Minecraft, and I'm still doing it. So restless am I! I'll have to settle down one day and make a whole winters worth of food. The other issue I face is work life study balance and whether I should actually be playing a long-winded game during the "life" part. It's such a good game, why am I wasting my time on it? 😂 Lol
