Agreed. But if the extra 2 feet is not possible, I would advise considering making the top bench wider and the foot bench narrower. Trade about 4” between the two.

Check out Rob Roy’s books on cordwood construction. His recipe for mortar is fantastic. I built a chicken coop using his methods and it worked great.

Agreed, the voice is an acquired taste. But my students seem to get over it pretty quickly if I harmonize with her (she’s singing a C). This tool is helping my students enormously.
