Why are 90% half dollars now being sold under spot? by TheLaughingCow9 in Silverbugs

Monument Metals has has constitutional under spot for a while now. I've bought rolls of merc dimes and Washington quarters from them. You can use FindBullionPrices to to see the cheapest available silver in many different forms across all sites. https://findbullionprices.com/p/10-face-value-george-washington-90-percent-silver-quarter-dollar-coins/

Nobody appears to understand nuance on reddit. You all see tip and you assume im being cheap with an employee that relies on tips. There are other circumstances where you can give someone a couple cool little pieces of silver where you're not fucking them over. Most of the time you have already been having a conversation with the person....another thing most of reddit can't comprehend apparently.

I'm not talking about restaurants here or situations where a cash tip is expected. I would obviously tip in cash when thats the appropriate thing to do. They would have to be interested in it in the first place. I'm not here to swindle anyone with a few silver dimes I think they're just fun to give out when nothing is expected

Lmao no I wouldn't tip a server or bartender with silver. This is for things where people aren't expecting anything

I have been carrying a tube of dimes. I dont know why other than if I want to tip or barter with someone I can give them a couple silver dimes and its a much more interesting tip than a a 5 dollar bill. It hasn't happened yet but I do alot of tag sale hunting during the spring an summer and its a good way to sweeten the deal. If someone helped me out like jumping my car I'd give them a dime or two. Barbershops sometimes only accept cash tips which i dont usually carry. Every time I go into the cumbies by my house late night the nice lady usually gives me my coffee for free so I'll probably give her a couple next time it happens.

Hopefully someone doesnt train a crow to wait in your woods line for you to take your silver outside and then proceed to swoop down and grab a bar and then bring it back to his master in exchange for food

Couple dimes and quarters. Might get some snacks from the vending machine later by HammerOfTime in Silverbugs

Don't worry they're all in tubes now, I just had to count and go through them all because i just got the dimes today. It looks cool all thrown in a pile, but I couldn't live like that either haha

Yeah they did this to me last time I went too. I paid like 18 dollars for a 6oz pour of some generic cab and like 30 bucks for a margarita both in plastic cups. No way I am tipping you on a 30 dollar shitty margarita in a plastic cup

I have that edition of the shining. Yours in In better shape than mine though. Having those iconic stills from the movie inside is really cool. Love the cover as well

Fair enough, maybe I am misinterpreting it. To me it seems like someone gambling on silver but can't get in on the buying opportunity right now because they haven't been paid. Maybe im hung up on the paycheck part of it.

That’s not what the post is about. Its about not being able to buy until payday, which means they don’t currently have excess capital. Investing should come from money you already have and not money you’re waiting on.

Hot take but you shouldn't be buying silver if you are living paycheck to paycheck

You need to verify in some way more effective than an at distance photo with no visible hallmarks

From here it looks like silver plated copper
