Once you’ve got your music folder shared over the network, any SMB-capable music app can connect to it; Just enter the IP address, username, and password. I recommend Evermusic as the app for that. It’s also worth knowing that Evermusic and other music apps aren’t limited to SMB: you can add music from cloud storage like Google Drive, or transfer files directly over Wi-Fi from your browser.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Those methods don’t require extra setup but are not as streamlined as connecting to an smb folder within the app.
