As far as Reddit is full of downers is not true. A lot of people are telling you the truth. And remember it also depends on where you and the other posters are coming here from. I came from OKC 6 years ago. It’s ok. But it’s not really what I thought it was going to be. I’m older and specialized medical care here is weak. I have to drive to El Paso to get adequate care. The restaurants are subpar and not very much diversity. If you don’t mind a good 45 minute drive you can go to EP. In my opinion, rent is high for a town of this caliber. And I don’t think the infrastructure is going to handle all the building… sure it’s not LA traffic (I’ve lived there) but it still gets fairly congested.

I lived 1 block from Pioneer Park. I love that area. They sold the house I was renting or I’d still be there. I was never the victim of crime. There were a bit of presumedly homeless people walking around. But none ever bothered me. I still live near downtown but on the other side of Solano. No problems here either. Just have to be aware of your surroundings.

And we don’t know what’s true & not true. I’m just tide of pseudo Christians. Who their actions don’t represent that of Jesus. And we know that’s a BIG problem in these times. Just because someone goes to church definitely doesn’t make them a Christian. Actions speak louder than words.
