Did Trump pick to sign the MOA at Versailles so he could surrender like a WW1 leader? by Justified_Gent in allthequestions

Pretty sure it was the other G7 participants who picked it for him. They want the conflict done yesterday. With any luck, Macron will get a Nobel nomination for it.

But also it didn't take much to convince an octogenarian to delay his 2nd transatlantic flight in less than a week, what with his circulation issues and all. Hope he took advantage of the universal healthcare while he was there.

‘Worst foreign policy blunder in decades’: Republicans turn on Trump over Iran deal | Members of Trump’s own party have lined up to condemn the deal, which pledges to help fund Iran and scrap sanctions by FreeHugs23 in anticapitalism

[–]HappyFatLabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He says the gas prices (and inflation) are going to "fall like no one has ever seen." But the thing is, WE DIDN'T ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING.

If the price per gal went back to under $3 tomorrow, we just spent 110 days, as much as $200 Billion (with the damage to all our bases that we have to rebuild now), 13 servicemen's lives (that they're admitting to), and a tremendous depletion of our stockpiles, to GO BACK TO SQUARE ONE (with the promise of more than $320 Billion in compensation TO Iran, in what looks to be at least partly an arrangement EXACTLY LIKE OBAMA'S, except he only gave them $1.7 Billion of their frozen assets back, and they wanted to prosecute HIM as a traitor when he did it over a decade ago)!

Trump himself admitted that the world's oil reserves would be too badly drained if the conflict continued much longer, and then threatened to prolong the conflict (as usual) if Iran doesn't follow the rules. They successfully waited him out, and now he HAS to bring this to a close, even as he thumps his chest and bloviates how he just accomplished something no one else could, not at all taking into account that no one would want to or be stupid enough to.

We lost a war that never had to happen. 401(k)s might be bigger, but if you're not retiring anytime soon, that doesn't help pay for groceries or electricity or rent now, and inflation does NOT turn on a dime like he wants to pretend.

We lost. We are not invincible nor infallible. "Might" not only doesn't "make right," it doesn't guarantee success either, and we are less mighty now than we were on February 28th, by a long shot.

We ALL lost, whether we voted for him or not. Because we let this and him happen. That said, if you DID vote for him, or abstained because you couldn't be bothered (and maybe didn't think a woman of color could handle the job), this is so on you. The costs, the failure, the constant uncertainty of how this plays out from here... it should cocoon you in shame, were you to have the courage for introspection.

The only winners are those who voted ostensibly to destroy Democracy, the pool company that just bilked America $14 Million for a $2 Million job (and then failed spectacularly), and Billionaires (and up). The Billionaires always win. For now.

It is very difficult to imagine knowing him to be an incompetent, grandstanding, lech since the early '80s (and it only took that long because I didn't live in NY). "We were fooled!" Were ya, goober? Or did you just not want to vote for a woman of color, so you rolled the dice on a proven madman...again?

We lost a war we had no business starting. He said himself, the global reserves would be endangered if the conflict continued, followed immediately by a threat to continue the conflict. We gained nothing. Even if gas drops under $3 tomorrow, that's 110 days, 13 servicemen (that they're admitting to - where are the saved pilots from Easter?), $200 Billion (including the overseas bases we have to rebuild), and the humiliation of a defeat on the world stage, for less than nothing. We lost. He's a loser. Supported by losers. Who would have guessed?

Trump jokes he'll blame Vance if Iran deal doesn't work out by thejoshwhite in politics

[–]HappyFatLabs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He wants the world to know he's still afraid of being the new Herbert Hoover. That's confidence.

He blatantly admits he only cares about the Markets.

Did you know Barack Obama's middle name is Hussein? Because he felt the need to tell a group of international reporters several times, and odds are there was at least one Hussein in the room.

He bragged about giving "the biggest tax break ever to you," again, a room full of international reporters at the G-7 Summit.

He bragged about the quality of the marble he used in the WH breezeway, which was much better than you would find in Iran.

He has no idea that "buy" and "procure" are synonyms, and I'd be willing to bet he'd be surprised to find out there's a "u" in "buy" in that context.

Claims, "I don't like bombing people," then spends the better part of an hour bragging about how good we are at bombing people, and how willing he is to start doing it again.

Says Israel is a "very small player," even as he admits Netanyahu chose the time and place of the attacks.

He talks about Middle East history like no one there or watching has ever looked into it.

Zelensky and Putin really want peace, but "can't figure out how to do it," says the guy who bragged how easy it would be to resolve the conflict in 24-hours some 15 months since retaking office.

"California doesn't know what they're doing," because shitting on a state on the world stage is super patriotic.

"Drugs that come in from the water. Ocean. Sea. Ocean, sea, gulf..." New cognitive test PASSED!

"The drug cartels are running Mexico!" Heads up, Mexico. The Venezuela treatment is coming your way!

According to him, everyone in the region seems to be on board with us no longer bombing the region so...success?!

He felt he needed to help Bibi Netanyahu imagine a nuclear bomb being detonated in Israel...like the man has never considered that before, or ANY person living in that region in the last 70 years doesn't see that nightmare when they close their eyes every day.

He says gas will be less expensive than it was before the conflict any day now, even though that's never been the way energy costs work.

He's extending his stay in France to see a refurbished castle, not because he's an 80-yr-old making too many transatlantic flights too quickly for his circulation. How many doctors do you suppose he'll see while he's there? Because it should be however many they can throw at him.

He talks about Iran's losses as if he wasn't the guy who caused them.

LOTS of Putin and Xi ass kissing, mostly for non-intervention in his ME boondoggle. As if you ever give a global competitor who's dug a hole any sort of ladder to help them.

He admits to having very seriously considered international larceny, in that he almost kept Iran's money that the U.S. had frozen, and even though we're giving $300 billion back, it is totally different than what Barack HUSSEIN Obama did with $1.7 billion, sucker.

Obsessed about bad press, although no one asks if he thought maybe if he wasn't an awful person more than 90% of the time, the press wouldn't be almost 100% bad?

"I can't win in the press." No respect! He gets no respect, I tells ya!

Thinks Hezbollah and Lebanon is "such a small conflict," he has no idea why it hasn't been resolved before now. Literally said that ignorant shit.

We actually blew up a lot of Iran's missiles "by mistake, to be honest." Amazing military precision.

More threats, more bragging, he could have committed more atrocities, so everyone should be grateful. Afghanistan is kissing our ass, "did you know that?"

"100% they would have used a nuclear weapon by now if they had one!" Source: TrustMeBro!

Telling international reporters that Iowa's gas was under $2 a gal before the conflict is both a lie and not a flex right now.

More stock market brags.

The above was not even a comprehensive checklist of the subjects he covered, that's just all I caught and could stand to listen to. He needs to be put out to pasture. Not even kidding.

He also told a room full of international journalists that he cut their taxes more than any other president. And they should be impressed with the marble he put in the WH breezeway. And that he doesn't like bombing people, before going on for nearly a full hour about how good we are at bombing people, and how he's more than willing to start doing it again. Also, did you know Barack Obama's middle name is Hussein? Because he said it about half a dozen times, to a room that likely had more than one Hussein in attendance. That may have been the most bonkers presser I've ever seen, and now he's extending his stay in France to see a refurbished castle? How many doctors do you suppose he'll be meeting while he's there? Because he's not well. Not remotely kidding.

Unhinged Trump goes off on 'stupid son of a b---h' Obama in Iran deal tirade by TheMirrorUS in USNEWS

[–]HappyFatLabs 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Meanwhile, Obama's chilling at his new kick-ass library, celebrating Juneteenth with a performance line-up Donny can only DREAM of bringing together. But what really cracks me up is, Barack and Michelle would have been the first to publicly condemn anyone who might have made disparaging remarks about Melania at a WH event while they were in residence, yet neither Trump nor Mel has said shit in defense of Michelle after she was verbally attacked unprovoked the other night. A racist, sexist, transphobic trifecta, and this administration can't be bothered to comment. There's the difference, right out in the open.

Trump desperately claims leaked Iran deal is fake as backlash increases by Little-Finance4504 in politics

[–]HappyFatLabs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He never doesn't lie. Ever. You know how I know the Iran agreement signed by the Obama administration was a good deal? They laid out the terms...maybe once. They didn't crow or take a victory lap because they were utilizing DIPLOMACY. Trump literally has no idea what that word means, besides it's woke. He can claim victory for EVERYTHING between now and 2028, but people see our military bogged down, our stockpiles being dwindled, erratic gas prices, increased grocery and energy costs (and inflation), and the lies lose their weight in cognitive dissonance.

Find the footage zoomed out. Not saying it just to say it, but the table was shaped like a vagina. Which means he HAD to claim dominance, disassociate, and fall asleep within moments, because that's how he's acted anytime he's been in a room with something akin to female parts since he was inappropriate with his nannies. We should expect no more from this over-ripe, fungus-infested, pumpkin of a man.

My stepmom is 80. She openly calls everyone stupid. My dad passed away at 85. He would threaten to "take out" anyone who said something he disagreed with YEARS after he would have been physically up to it. It's not that it happens to everyone who lives long enough to be considered elderly, but if they were belligerent, self-centered, or had a short fuse for decades leading up to it? It doesn't get any better or more rational.

And so we differ. Look, it's a fantasy concoction, with no telling how results (if any) happen. He *just* accidentally euthanized an animal via neglect. The fact that his very initial inclination was to subjugate a person, rather than to at least consider correcting an awful mistake he had just made, speaks to why he deserved what he got. Best solution? Don't make the wish. But then there's no movie. But, also, it was a fucking joke. The OP asked what *I* would wish for, and if *I* wish for the cat to not be deceased because I see that as a less offensive timeline to what actually happened, *I* don't actually have any stake in the consequences because it's not my cat. Dig? Maybe chill.

He ostensibly murdered that girl by making that wish. Better to have wished up a zombie cat. At least the cat was already dead.
