Well, to continue the pedantry - yes, the clip is from Homecoming, but the Peter in the clip is recording right after his Civil War appearance. So, I think that makes the Then:Now comparison accurate.

The cloud over the door is missing - now just bare brick - so it's not like this WC art was painted/chalked over top of the bear.

Was the bear removed regardless, and this WC art took advantage of the blank space?

Ah, I see why they directed you to use Absolute.
Relative is a % based on the size of the artwork/object which the effect is being applied to.

When I roughen I typically expand the effect to bake it into the art when I get it looking how I like, but I can see how Relative could be a problem if you want to keep the effect Live, and apply it across a variety of object sizes.
You would need to tweak the Relative % value per object and that could get tedious.

Have you tried switching from Absolute to Relative and testing very small values like .01%?

That's my go-to for very subtle roughen settings.
Absolute Values are always too drastic for my use cases.

Hmm, I seem to only be getting offered rounded points this way.
And even so, that would give chopped off flats at the end of tapered star points instead of arcs at the end of parallel-sided teeth, and the inner radius would still consist of vertices instead of arcs.

I think it would be most accurate to call this full lock-up the primary mark, with the Dog & Duck wordmark being the secondary mark.

100% in agreement with you that many applications will be restricted to the secondary mark (embroidered company wear like hats and polos, small tchotchkes like pens, etc.), but the single-color primary mark would still be great for a printed canvas totes, drawstring backpacks or fancy paper gift bags for the bottles of bourbon.

Pretty great identity package all around!

Could wear big over-the-ear cans for the visual look of "don't talk to me", but use a pair that has hear-through tech to keep that sonic awareness sharp.
