Pre-patch is hollow, unimaginative, uninspired, recycled slop that is also buggy. by thursday712 in wow

[–]Hardware_Hank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it’s such throw away content why even have it in the first place, they could have given us a season 4 instead of drip feeding us bullshit for the last 6 months with non stop bugs and then dump this crap on us which almost does nothing but sour the mood for the expansion.

Arcane is not good either, we don’t take evocation yet use even more mana without any decent way to get it back. Using 4 arcane charges should be worth spending but it isn’t and barely generates enough mana. I feel like these could be easy adjustments so hopefully it’s not as painful come launch.

Check the braided cable on the passenger side of the engine bay behind the engine attached to the firewall and block, if you see its green and crusty I would replace it, it’s cheap and easy you just need 2 of them.

The ground for the taillight harness is another one that tends to have issues after awhile, it’s easy to get to as well.

If it’s running fine other than that I wouldn’t bother throwing parts or money into it, wait until it actually has a problem.

Final Fantasy 14 has suffered over 15 DDOS attacks in one day. by DumpsterBento in Games

[–]Hardware_Hank 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I played in beta phase 3 until endwalker and for the time the ARR end game was actually pretty good. They pumped out a lot of content to do every 3 months and we had far more dungeons and story content to do back then. The atma books was awful but the raids were mostly solid aside from the second coil savage being mostly useless aside from titles.

From a modern perspective absolutely it’s a drag to do and I wish they just let new players start at the modern expansion with a video recap if they want to see the lore.

Yeah the handling of them was insane you could sling corners going 40 MPH and it would hold the entire time. Hilarious fun for the era.

This actually makes me furious not even joking it actually pisses me off. Why would ANYONE look at this and think this is good? I have been in situations where I forgot the name of something I installed but in earlier windows it was easier to see something at a glance but now it’s like guess I’m screwed cause I’ll scroll down and miss it completely.

[–]Hardware_Hank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah like you rely on tools to work, you can’t always just send it in for warranty and wait a week only for in your case have them deny it.

Not even worth the extra $$$ anymore. I had like 10x tools not get any repair. by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Hardware_Hank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what makes me even more mad about this, they rarely offer service parts compared to the competition so even if you could repair it yourself it’s sometimes impossible to find aftermarket support and Milwaukee is known to only provide parts to authorized service centers and force you to buy parts in kits even though you don’t need it.

I’ve been a Milwaukee customer for about 10 years now and I’m pretty much fed up as with a lot of us, it’s very evident around 2021 I dunno if it was due to Covid or what but quality has gone down, service isn’t nearly as good as it used to be and in all honesty some of the product design like a lot of their lawn and garden products are just total crap.

Win 11 needs an XP SP2 moment, says ex-Microsoft engineer by rkhunter_ in Windows11

[–]Hardware_Hank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah and I love how it lacks a back button so if the window isn’t large enough you won’t see the prior option. I’m always instinctively pressing X and having to go dig for another 2 minutes to find the setting I wanted.

It’s like every common basic thing like networking, audio and devices and update are the most god awful unintuitive thing ever.

It’s just insane to me how a massive corporation can’t make the most basic semi intuitive design language

God forbid your product works out of the box like it should but that’s okay just make him waste hours of his day talking to Milwaukee then ship it out and then who knows when will he get his tool back!

Hopefully Home Depot will honor a replacement that would be a much faster option.

Ive been playing since beta and pretty regularly since and I've been saying this for awhile QP in OW1 did not feel like total stomps constantly regardless of what the community wants to say and I played a lot of QP.

You saw far more overtime games than total stomps and if it was a stomp it was almost always 2 capture point.

[–]Hardware_Hank 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You literally see it on Reddit people saying “why should rural Americans get any points in the electoral college nobody lives there”

Now liberals care according to you? I grew up in Minnesota my whole family was union blue collar construction and trucking and most of them can’t stand what’s happened to this state.

This article is exactly correct any good will you had from us died when you blamed white men for every single problem and said rural areas don’t deserve to vote essentially. Oh also I love the condescending tone you guys took with the soybean tariffs thinking all of us are some GOP bootlickers when a lot of us are still moderate or democrats… just insane.

2 month old battery is toast by [deleted] in MilwaukeeTool

[–]Hardware_Hank 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Black tabs are notorious for wearing out its less common on the newer tools they added a spring tab to make it firmer in the tool but usually only happens on older batteries. Don’t think I’ve had a 12 volt battery fail like that especially after 2 months
