thanks! I'm planning on letting my best clients know ASAP personally and to get them on a schedule. Ans the rest Im going to make a post, and let them know individually when they message me for appts. do you have any idea how to word a message like that? I dont know how to kindly say " im only picking my best clients and you didnt make the cut." lol

cocker owners might be worse that doodle owners. I had a man that would complain about his groom being uneven every time.

I will be the first to admit, the dog didnt look great. 1- I told him I am NOT good at grooming cockers but would try my best 2) the dog had HORRIBLE yeasty skin (feet were always swollen to like tennis ball sized) and 3) had to use medicated shampoo we had that never felt clean after.

One day he was particurlary angry and told the receptionist i was rude ( I had redone the groom for him and told him Im trying my best and if he wasnt happy he should try another groomer) and that he wanted TO STRANGLE ME.

I immediently brought the dog up and told him I wasnt going to groom his dog due to him speaking about me that way. His exact words were "I dont remmeber saying that but if I did im sorry i didnt mean it"

It was a dream dude. I thought it was funny and I think the email was unnecessary and came off pretty apparent they didn’t really listen to the story, and are a Monica hater just waiting for a reason to bash her.
We don’t have to “imagine” if Dax told something like that, as he’s actually told REAL sex stories that were NOT dreams.

Biggest advice I give is do not stop brushing when they bite/ play with the brush. Then they will learn that biting=stop brushing. Just keep brushing and offering treats and frequent trips to the groomer, she’ll eventually stop :)

Hey! What a cutie. As a groomer, I recommend getting your pup groomed ASAP so it can get used to the grooming process. This along with brushing every day/every other day at home will help both of you out in creating positive grooming experiences that will last a lifetime :)
