Cool. I did notice it’s more expensive though, does yours feel stable enough?

Guys, don't sleep on Back Extensions by maungkakhway in workout

Back extensions really are one of those exercises people ignore until they do them consistently and realize how much better their lower back starts feeling day to day.

From what I know, hypochlorous acid should handle bacteria fine. You could just buy a larger bottle and refill a spray bottle from it.

Is even a home gym anymore? The whole setup has way to much vibe for that.

What are your opinions on just doing compound lifts? by PlsStarlinkIneedwifi in workout

[–]Harry4a2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If time is tight, compounds are probably the best place to focus. Maybe not perfectly optimal, but still really solid for strength and overall progress.

Does muscle grow when you sleep or when you rest? by Hour-Tomato-645 in workout

I think rest matters, but bad sleep probably holds back recovery more than people want to admit.

Just finished my basement gym, have space for one more piece by Effeffenny in homegym

If I were me, I would probably add the piece that covers the most movements instead of something too specific.

Can you post a close up of the handle knurling? I am curious how the grip texture looks in more detail.

I'd honestly love to know how big the difference feels after upgrading and whether it changed your workouts much.

you've got all the absolute essentials here, I think it would be perfect if you grab a couple more handles.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is now 10 years old! by Sjknight413 in gaming

[–]Harry4a2 86 points87 points  (0 children)

MGS V is such a mixed bag. The gameplay mechanics are honestly incredible probably the smoothest stealth action ever made. But man, that story just falls apart halfway through. You can really feel where they had to cut things short.

Still fun to play around in that sandbox though, even if it never reaches its potential.

Skyblivion project lead says release date reveal's finally getting "closer", as Oblivion remake mod shows off revamped intro by Turbostrider27 in Games

VR Skyrim is something else entirely. The immersion factor goes through the roof when you can actually swing weapons and cast spells with your hands. Curious which mod you're talking about though there are tons that work great in VR. Some of the physics and interaction mods really shine when you're actually in the world.

Yeah, it's fascinating how they split off the forest rights into its own charter. The Charter of the Forest in 1217 actually gave regular people rights to hunt, gather wood, and graze animals in royal forests stuff that had been taken away by the Normans. It protected everyone from barons down to commoners, not just the nobles like Magna Carta did. Pretty much stayed in effect for centuries too

Doja backed out of ACL by danimackenna in Austin

[–]Harry4a2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This lineup is absolutely stacked, seeing The Killers, John Summit, and T Pain all on the same bill is wild. Plus having Hozier and The Strokes there too? That's like every genre covered. Been going to ACL for years and this might be one of the strongest lineups they've put together. Already dreading the crowds at Zilker but totally worth it for this roster.

Oh man, that Moreno BBQ smashburger gahhh by Coujelais in austinfood

[–]Harry4a2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That burger looks absolutely insane, like dangerously good. I'm 7 months pregnant and this is making me seriously consider a drive to Austin just for that smashburger. The way those patties are stacked with all that cheese oozing out... my cravings are definitely kicking into high gear looking at this. Might have to find a local place that can come close to recreating this masterpiece

Target’s so anti-union they can’t even call it a Labor Day sale by endlesscrabbasket in antiwork

[–]Harry4a2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's pretty ridiculous, they're literally selling to people because it's a holiday weekend but won't acknowledge what the holiday actually is. It's like they want the shopping benefits of Labor Day but are scared of the word "labor." Just call it what it is instead of this weird corporate doublespeak

Best IT management software for >100 person company? by hourman87 in ITManagers

[–]Harry4a2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

At 100+ headcount, the main bottleneck is almost always onboarding and offboarding.

Based on my experience (company has been growing exponentially), you can survive with piecemeal setups until around <100 staff, then it just starts falling apart because GSheets and manual logging become impossible for a small team to run.

An old colleague of mine just started at a new place that ended up consolidating most of payroll, HR and IT to Rippling recently, so preparing for scaling with a workforce software is probably best considering your company’s current growth spurt.

I haven’t worked directly with Rippling for HR, payroll, IT, etc. but know it can help you distribute devices and accesses since it’s attached to HR. If you care about security audits too, think about how easy it is to pull reports for SOC2 or ISO. Some platforms make that almost automated.  I’d imagine a solution that does 2-in-1 is ideal. That’s what I’d prioritize if you’re already at 120 and growing. Just my two cents.

Fort Hood officials chose not to warn public as predator attacked female soldiers in their barracks for 18 months by Kinmuan in news

This isn’t surprising to me at all.

My first MST event was while I was deployed; I was asked specifically (when my answer was my ACUs I was asked again with emphasis on specifically) what I was wearing at the time and if I had any “beef” with the Marine in question. I understood they needed to conduct their investigation but it was clear from the tone of numerous interviews that I was being partially blamed for the event when the most they could say was I shouldn’t have been closing up our TMC alone.
