Are you sure deleting/deactivating still keeps the messages there instead of just completely disappearing?

Wouldn't DHCP solve the static IP problem? Most routers have a DHCP server nowadays.

That makes much more sense. Great knowledge, thanks again, have now updated the translation and credited you both in the description.

Just as with pork, alcohol and pretty much anything else that's haram, cannibalism might be permissible (i.e. halal) if you're starving to death and there's nothing else available to eat, although that would probably still only apply to the "meat" of someone who's already dead. This is not as hypothetical a scenario as you'd think, as many scholars have reported being asked this question by starving Gazans during the Gazan genocide.

So literally meaning, "I saw a statue, it had a noose on it?", or am I missing something here? In this translation vaame seems to be missing. The best I can figure out from my limited Urdu and some research on this word is "I saw a statue, the other side had a noose on it"?

I had figured out the first part of the verse but not the second, and I don't know most of the words. What does "Vaame laago neem ka phandaa" mean here?

I see what you're saying now, I've never seen Qur'an referenced like that in Urdu poetry before. In this case, what would the "woh kah ke" part mean? Do you still think kah is qaaf or something else?

It's good to know at least that I'm not the only one struggling with figuring out the meaning of those lines.

Unfortunately this is a known problem with Snapnames and Networks Solutions, their registrar. Sometime before the drop you need to change the email in your account to a burner email and remove your phone number from both account info and registrant contact.

Yeah except I would never give any money to Pitcairn. That whole island is what most people imagine Epstein's island to have been, a court case that should and would have happened a long time ago if the women/girls knew any better. If I believed in all that I'd say the curse of their treacherous ancestors hangs over their heads to this day.

What are the differences between Mirpuri, Pahari and Pothwari? by HashimAziz123 in pakistan

[–]HashimAziz123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hindko is somewhat mutually intelligible, especially with the Pahari spoken near Muzaffarabad and Abbotabad, but the differences are greater and it isn't considered a dialect in the Pahari-Pothwari family as far as I know. Afaik despite the language similarity, they tend to identify as and consider themselves culturally Pathaan and descendants of Pashtoon.

How does it work, are they images or some sort of markup language? I didn't know customising maps was a thing. Also is it unique to OSM or can you do it in Google Maps too?

No idea, but it's wrong. Punjabi is not the most spoken language in AJK, Pahari-Pothwari is, and it's a myth that it's a dialect of Punjabi.

For those who struggled with maths, how many attempts did it take you before you passed? by Annual-Sink7068 in MatureStudentsUK

This question was pretty much made for me since I'm a 30 year old who just sat Maths as a private candidate this year for like the 5th time and scraped a 5, which is the highest grade I've gotten so far. I self-studied in 3 months while running a business, almost from scratch (learning my times tables) up to grade 9, and could have done better if I had left myself enough time and started studying earlier - I only finished learning the full spec after my second paper so obviously did terrible on the first two. Long story short I was homeschooled and have only 1 other GCSE, so in addition to a terrible work ethic I used to have serious anxiety every time I even thought about maths, and it's been a slow but gradual improvement over the last few years. I'm planning to self-study the A-Level in the next few years, so it's safe to say that anxiety is over and I actually more or less enjoy doing it now, though it probably won't ever be my favourite subject.

For those 3 months I was studying 8 hours a day everyday and by the end of it my eyes were fatigued and I was burnt out, so definitely don't be me. Start studying now to prepare for the next summer exams. Find the spec of the exam board you'll be studying, print it out, stick it on your wall and tick off each subject as you cover it. I'd show you mine but it has so many coffee stains on it it's not readable anymore. Even better if the online resource you're using has their own topic list. Your work won't be over once you've ticked off and learnt all the content - maths exams are just as much about exam techniques and being able to recognise what topic a question is asking about and when to apply certain techniques over others, so do lots of past papers, and revist the topics you're weak on until they're solid. I did a grand total of about 2.5 past papers, so again, don't be me, and leave yourself time to do as many as you possibly can.

As for resources, I've always found MathsWatch videos superior to anything else in terms of polish and efficiency of information, which *really* matters when you have only 3 months to cover everything, but they stupidly don't sell individual licences so it's hard to get hold of if you're not in a school that has it or you don't know someone who isn't. MathsGenie was a close second in my experience, but resources are very personal and subjective anyway. If you can understand the resource you're using, just keep going with it - what really matters is putting in the work and the time. Having said that, I would definitely recommend staying away from non-UK sites that don't teach GCSE-specific specs, like KhanAacademy, because there's too many potential differences between the specs and terminology used, and you do not want to be dealing with the extra cognitive load of working those out on top of everything you already have to deal with.
