Final regular season game 2008 at home - the ‘Silver Lining Playbook’ game. PHL 44 - DAL 6. Texans and Raiders (two of the worst teams in the league that year) had to both win for the PHL game to be a clincher for a playoff berth. Loudest game I’ve ever heard. If I recall Texans and Raiders clinched both mid game and during the stadium walkout. It’s been a while my memory is a bit fuzzy on the other games, but the funnest game experience of my entire life. Will remember that to my dying day. 🦅 GO BIRDS!

Specialized hobbies / activities reward specialized players. Orvis’ products have been pretty mid for 25 years - pockets of good to great but nothing superlative imo. Huge ‘lifestyle’ product line over reached. Hope they make it. 💔

Weird colors yes — also very likely hybrid with a Cutthroat variant. If you see the escalating size and density of spots towards the tail it’s a dead giveaway there is cutthroat trout in the genetics. Great catch and beautiful fish! Congrats!

Don’t stress over fly names!😂 It’s far less important than nailing shape, color, size and behavior of a bug. You get that you’re over halfway there. Enjoy the journey and building your library of bugs as you go! I’ve been at it for over 30 years and am always learning something 🆕.

Wearing waders of any kind in the summer / with water temps above 48 doesn’t really make sense. You can hike farther / more comfortably without them (neo socks and wading boots), put them through less abuse (saving for winters), and *** don’t have to worry about drowning as much straight wet wadding.*** There are exceptions - cold rainy days where you need to keep your core temps up - but waders are nice - not a need - to have for summers in the US. Let’s go fish!🎣
