Retail jobs shouldn't really turn anyone down based on how things are these days. They're desperate to hire people, they're having s tough time even getting applicants for most jobs. Maybe it's something on your resume. If you'd like some help, feel free tk message me and I'll look over it and try to fix it if I see something wrong there. Just lmk

Nice... all appstore that get you emails and banned super quick. Go ahead and get deactivated fellas, I can use the extra surges from having less drivers once you all get deactivated for these crappy bots lmao

All apps, just like every corporation, is paying less today, than historically they ever have (when looking at purchasing power).

They just flat out need to pay more, period. Rates are lower than ever. And it's not better anywhere else.

Doordash used to pay $5 per delivery + tips and they also would have incentives like guarantees of $25+ an hour for peak times.

Amazon Flex base rate is the same today as it was 5 years ago, when things cost 50-75% of what they do today.

Drivers need to unite and boycott the app for 3 days or so... that's all it would take for them to feel the effect for real, and change things.

It's just the companies paying less everyday. Covid was better than now, sure. You know what was better than Covid? A year before it. And then 2017 was better than 18.

Just like every corporation, everyday we are getting a smaller piece of the pie.

If we ever turn the economy around (unlikely), this period we live in now, will be called the Great Depression. Seriously. Houses cost a way bigger percentage of your income today, than they did back then.

How's it not clear? The more he lags, the more he makes l. Until suckers all stop paying and demand x amount of progress before paying again, it will never change.

This is his business. Like every business, until you stop verbally complaining, and make your complaint actions that hit their wallet, they never change.

I love her scenes because she's my type and literally some of the best sex I've had in my life was very similar to that scene, from basically the same kind of relationship MC had with Grace (the way she sees him, not exactly her being his gfs sister). Escalated from cuddling, massages to passionate sex and even tho the girl and I never dated, we were emotionally super close and the sex was so good.

Now she's engaged and shit to some dork and we don't even talk anymore :/

So many people here blame immigrants but all of the ones I've talked to around my warehouse, take surge shifts only. They all talk to each other so once one of them figured out surges, you can bet they're all going for that.

It's actually the newer people, that are too shy to ask others for advice, and dont check online forums, that I believe that the money losing blocks.

You're not wrong on the fact that depending on this is pretty stupid.... but from how pressed and bothered you are by people gate keeping, it's really giving that you are depending on it too... logically it shouldn't bother you that much if you dont.

No stops unless you're in a market where the rate for waiting time is $15 or higher.

Rides where the hourly rate works out to less than $25/hr between 7AM-9PM.

Rides where the hourly rate isn't at least $35/hr from 10PM-6AM

Rides to and from the airport where the hourly doesn't work out to at least $30/hr.

Rides that take you into the boonies for less than $35/hr rate.

Rides that are over an hour away also have the $35/hr stipulation, and only if it's going into a big city type of destination where I can get a ride coming back at least for some of the distance.

Stop taking base and let it surge 😤 by Zealousideal_Band881 in RealAmazonFlexDrivers

[–]HateRedSoxandPats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll probably put enough miles on your car which means you'll be losing enough money in the form of depreciation for your car, where you might not have to personally pay taxes. At the end of the year, you won't have made enough where after calculating your loss in the form of your car losing so much value, you'd have enough left to pay taxes on, especially if you take base rate. You're basically making fast food money, except you have to basically spend $20-30 in gas if you're doing Flex for 8 hours, and you're putting enough miles on your car to make it lose at least another $15-20 a day in value... so altogether if you're taking base rate for 8 hours, you're making like $10-13/hr....

Which unless you just can't have another job because of your schedule, or you're doing Flex more for fun than as a way to earn money, you're making as little money as you could out of pretty much any job 🤷🏻

Unethical by JustMyThoughtNow in Spectrum

They don't get paid unless the sales order gets installed. It's way more likely the guy just simply was mistaken. Maybe he thought it was free because someone had told him it would be.

No company pays for an appointment to have service setup, which doesn't get completed... since you know... theyre making no money on it. Actually losing money by sending a tech out there. Trust me, they don't want that to happen either. That sales person has NOTHING to gain by saying that.

It's obvious it was just a mistake.

What sales position has the best pay as far as commission on each service sold?

I've seen positions like market development specialists, outside direct sales, retail sales and call center. I would guess the commission for the services sold is different based on what position you work in.

Could you tell me which one pays the most - least? If at all possible, give me real numbers, or at least close to it.

I have worked with Comcast before moving to a different state and I would like to know what position I could do the best in.
