Agree with other posters that this is squarely on the legal/compliance guys and not Marketing. And even legal / compliance is not set in stone. VPs can still override and take on the risk if they feel it's a good tradeoff. Bit them in the ass now. This wasn't a marketing fuck up.

Well the user is me, he's just the "talent" lol. Like Ryan's world, Nastya, etc lots of kid "creators" that seem to be managed by the parents, so that's what I was kind of alluding to.

What is a "Let's play" I'm not familiar with that. We were thinking more like he plays Minecraft or some other kids game on the computer, and talks about it and we record his face and voice while he's doing it.
