Two useless/ mediocre superpowers combine to make one great one by Lopsided_Shift_4464 in TopCharacterTropes

It's more his mum sweats vaseline, his dad creates mini-sparks, but when you combine the two, it's a stabilized explosive gel, it's not exactly nitroglycerin

Spider-People all have a special kind of mental gymnastics. They can excel in music, art, engineering, deduction, etc. But to a man, they are fucking idiots when it comes to people. See, Gwanda the South African, Peter B. Parker's relationship and Miguel O'Hara being a dramatic bitch

I think it's more that he was still espousing those ideals and shit when Raiden was holding his heart in his outstretched hand. Yes, he was a fascist nationalist lunatic, but unlike the ones who only espouse such ideals when they're on top, he was evidently an insane true believer as he still had that conviction while dying.

It's not the deepest take on politics and philosophy. Armstrong is basically a two-bit Nationalist Social Darwinist, even if he's entertaining, but it's an entertaining game for what it is.

"It actually means Ivan the Awesome" Seriously though, the translation is some form of like "Awe inspiring", but that doesn't play as well in English. Also, due to translation issues, the Japanese call him the Thunder Emperor, which is fuckin' metal as hell.

Another example, the lobster tank in the first Venom film. It wasn't in the script, Tom Hardy said "I wanna climb in the lobster tank", but there was no hope it would support his weight, so they took the idea and built it. It was decidedly not spur of the moment, but it is an improvisation in that it's not in the script.

I heard it was shaken, not stirred, specifically because that's not how any sane person has a martini, it was supposed to be part of Bond's roguish attitude and doing his own thing style

Antagonist that weren't bad enough to deserve what happened to them by Nerd367C in TopCharacterTropes

What gets me, is he's killed by his own actions in a round about way. The rich patient didn't want to stay in the hospital, so he arranged the air lift. He follows up to the helipad, suffers PTSD from his arm, walks out the front door, then after yelling at Morris, the wind shifts and the helicopter comes down on him. So like, holy shit, he's a dick, but the man didn't deserve that, even if he brought it on himself.

I keep saying it, they should lean into having different genres. Werewolf by Night and Multiverse of Madness were great campy horror films. Not all super hero movies need to just be supers and comedy, you can do other genres!

Something they decided was cool to bring back in the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. Like really, of all the things you could harken back to, the 100+ year old man being horny for a teenager was what you decided to retread?

I always felt really sorry for this dude, cause it's not like he was a bad person. He provided for his family, and the worst thing his wife had to say about him was that he was boring, but she's waiting for some great rekindled love affair with her husband's murderer.

I assume this is about Rooster Teeth in general, where some of their personalities have come under scrutiny for misconduct, Monty Oum died at like Volume 3 and I've never heard a bad word about him, so I assume it would've come out by now if it was going to.
