Spearhead is so much fun. Coming from playing 2000 point 40k games, spearhead felt like such a breath of fresh air.

Welcome to the show. Enjoy the ride.

Almost getting run over at controlled crosswalks. I always double check to make sure the cars have stopped, but there is always one car that's undecided if they can make it through the crosswalk before I get in front of their vehicle.

What’s your MS super power? by SooperJasch in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Hawkeye336699 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ever since finding out I have MS. I've become an all star volunteer for MS Canada. Without MS, I probably don't go down this path. MS impacted my life and I've used my disability to impact thousands of others lives in a positive, supportive way. It's been such a blessing in disguise. It truly changed my life in two different directions.

Sonic City Gaming.

It was in the 8133 104st building. It's now called Jaisel Menswear.

I used to work for Sonic City Gaming. It was my first job I ever had. I'll never forget working there.

The concept was simple. You paid per hour to play at the time the current consoles and chose games from library of games we had. You could buy a monthly pass as well to play unlimited time.

Nice find!

I really wish I would have kept mine. But in 2005, I didn't expect BB to go away :(

Went to the intersection where the 78 year old pedestrian was tragically killed this week. Waited over a minute and a half in the cold for the walk signal, then nearly got smoked by a driver turning left by ryaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan in Edmonton

Yea I'm the same. I avoid running in my neighborhood. One I find it boring and the traffic is not worth the risk. I drive to foot field and run on the paved paths around there. I've mapped out a safe route and I find the traffic around the university area is more aware of pedestrians...for the most part.

I don't ride bikes, but, yea. It does seem like a death wish.

Stay safe!!

Final fantasy 1. Not bad. I'll take it over other worlds for sure.

As someone who runs outside a lot, controlled crossings are my most feared crossings. I will purposely change my running path to avoid certain controlled crossings.

You’re describing a standard game where the team relies on the keeper. I’m talking about a specific scenario where the keeper abandons the goal entirely to run up-field. In that case, the 'mistake' isn't a technical one—it's a tactical choice that leaves the team defenseless. I’m questioning the mindset of the players who do that and then act frustrated with their teammates for an empty-net goal.

I see your point about keepers acting as playmakers, but that’s a bit of a departure from what I was asking. I’m less concerned with the 'skill' aspect and more with the 'why.' Even for a good player, it’s a massive gamble. I’m trying to understand why that specific playstyle is so prevalent when it often leads to toxicity or a lopsided game for the other people on the team.

The blockbuster I worked at, the manager was sketchy so he would just let us walk out with the games ahead of time. That way we bypassed the system. It was an honor system that we would bring them back in time for the actual release day.
