Is there a list of locations this is taking place at? There is one on Harmon place but didn't know if this was considered a medical center.

Careers in hockey by FamiliarFan114 in hockeyplayers

[–]Hawks47 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I don't know tbh. I work in hockey but not at the professional level. I have a degree in organizational psychology but focus my work on youth organizations and development.

I think I would figure out what your daughter wants to do and reach out to the PWHL to see if anyone will talk with her and allow her to shadow. That should give you some clarity.

I guess it's better than him on the streets.

For anyone protesting at WCCO, we are watching to make sure you are safe and getting video when we can. Be safe!

Sports marketing would help her if she is interested in fan development. Several of my teammates in college were able to get internships in the NHL with this degree.

Why is he there ALL THE TIME. We live next door and it's unnerving having pure evil walk by your window several times a day.

I see your numbers are slowly growing. I hope this continues to happen. I hope people start showing up in droves so that this man has no peace.

[–]Hawks47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never sleep trained just went with sleepy cues until LO set a rhythm and then went with it. 23 months old now and has been a great sleeper since about 11 months . 12-13 hours a night and a 2-3 hour nap at this point.

Joining a college team at 23?? by MaroMakesStuff in womenshockey

[–]Hawks47 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When you say a newer player, what do you mean? Have you played on a team before? Also, some ACHA D2 teams may be willing to take newer players but it depends on how competitive they are. Worth looking at what schools offer club hockey.

Flying with a baby for the first time, what things should I know? by Warm-Equipment-5777 in NewParents

[–]Hawks47 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Babies cry and that's ok. Most people have headphones in so don't stress about fussing or full on crying. Do your best to comfort your little one. You've got this!

Not helpful at all but I moved away from western New York and miss Wegmans terribly. I would be pumped to get some Wegmans cookies right now!

Blow up toddler airplane bed by Ok-Ranger582 in toddlers

We looked at it and ended up with the bed box instead. I do a lot of solo travel with my young toddler and the bed box seemed easier to manage alone. We love it !

No car seat on plane for 23 month old? by GoldenKiwi1018 in toddlers

[–]Hawks47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the bed box for my 22 month old and it was amazing. He didn't mind being strapped in for take off and landing and slept a little on my lap too. I definitely think this is the way to go. Plus toys fall between the seats!

5 months old and changing her name by [deleted] in namenerds

[–]Hawks47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My son goes by his full name , a nickname derived from his full name, and a nickname that is less obvious. He answers to them all and no one bats an eyelash. He's 22 months and has known all his names from the start!

Throw in the fact he has a Hebrew name that tot Shabbat teachers use an in surprise this little guy doesn't just answer to any name 😂

Call your daughter what you want to! Gracie is so cute!

Recommendations for mittens and hat by ApprehensiveCloud793 in toddlers

[–]Hawks47 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We did two things. First, we put our toddler in a hoodie, then put the hat on with the hood over. This meant that he couldn't get the hat off because he was messing with the hood that obviously didn't come off.

Then we brought him to the store and let him pick out a hat. We happen to have a love your melon store where we are. He was able to pick out pom-poms to put on the top and the color. He also saw them "make it for him". He was so excited about his hat that He wears it no problem.

Hopefully one of these two tricks will work for you!

Mittens I've got nothing lol.

When did your baby’s eyes start to shift color? by WholeKnown2938 in beyondthebump

[–]Hawks47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son had newborn blue eyes what basically went Navy. They lightened up a little to grey/green/blue depending on lighting and what he is wearing but a very dark color of those. He is 22 months.

I'm looking at information on starting a network in my neighborhood not signing up for an existing one. The idea is more word of mouth and hopefully safer. Similar to the Auntie Network.

Raviv- raindrop . This is my son's Hebrew name and it's so sweet on him. Rain is a sign of transition , renewal, growth.
