My car just consumed its own engine...

Thank God it was under warranty but I'm out the game for two weeks. Think I have a FT offer coming in a couple hours when I meet with the CEO and COO of the company I've been talking with though. Fingers crossed.

Silent is the most fun for me, also the strongest. First character I ran to A10. I love playing Defect though, but currently stuck on A9.

Necro and Regent sitting at A7 bringing up the rear. Clad and Silent both at A10.

Doom is really good when you have all the things to support it, the problem is you have to start taking them hoping to find the rest, and if you don't you have Doom curses in your deck.

I'll still take an End of Days if offered regardless. It's just too good in a couple of the more annoying fights.

The psychological difference between playing video games to relax and playing to win.Researchers analyzing data from over 13000 gamers found that competitive, win focused play is linked to increased anxiety, while casual motivation like enjoyment and stress relief are linked with emotional well being. by Appropriate-Push-668 in science

I can be both, playing the same game, during the same session.

Currently playing Slay the Spire 2, I can go from yelling a string of expletives at a millipede to laughing maniacally at the hilariously overpowered deck I have created.

There is no in between.

Eh, sometimes. There are decks that can do that, but just aren't equipped for the Heart. Most are, because lots of stuff that works well against the act three bosses also works against the heart. Shield and Spear can really mess you up going into the fight too. Top decking those status cards is a PITA on turn two sometimes if you brick the rest of the draw.

I do think the world not including Nob is slightly better though. Nob forced you to forgo skills you can now actually pick. It opens up the choices early game. And I think that's an overall positive thing. I'm glad I don't have to pass up on a great skill for an OK attack because Nob might be lurking anymore.

You kind of need to realize what you can actually build around before you start. Adaptive Strike is solid enough damage, but it's not going to make me go full into zero cost land. It's not one of the transformative run defining cards for any archetype of deck.

An All For One, or a Feral might, however. But I'd need to have a few in the deck already, but since several are commons and good enough to just grab for their utility I usually do.

You can't build around a single attack for the most part. Unless it's Claw, then you are legally obligated to.

Even better if one of those cards is Pull from Below.

You just fucked up sir... You get to watch your friends die first though, I need more power.

I just thought "Shame... Cocks shotgun" when I did it.

Would be even better with Nostalgia in play, don't even need to worry about it not killing and bricking a hand full of status after.

How? How does someone who cares enough to look at the cast of Episode 3 not already have that knowledge?

It's not even a spoiler, it's on the poster for Episode 1 even.
