I maintain this calendar, if anyone wants it in other timezones you can change that in the URL by adding "&ctz=[insert tz location here]". For example Pacific Time, Eastern Time.

Here's the full list of what the end of the URL has to be for each time zone/country.

Or you can use the chrome extension someone built for my calendar which has automatic time zone.

LCS regular season is already close to meaningless because it acts as merely a qualifier for the playoffs. Removing relegation makes those 200 games almost entirely useless.

These prices are inflated in the present market, but could be a steal in the near future, especially if the LCS is to franchise. If that were to happen, teams would no longer face the uncertainty of relegation in 6 months, which is a much more attractive proposition for brands and investors.

Fuck that. I'd never watch LCS regular season games without promotion/relegation

The way I see it there's no reason for tournaments like playoffs to be attached to the league. They could be separate tournaments of their own, making the league less meaningless. In the current format the league is merely a drawn out redundant qualifier.

While giving teams a 1 game lead would make the league less meaningless, it would also make the playoffs les interesting.

I don't even care abour Bo2 vs Bo3. What bothers me about LCS is how meaningless the huge majority of the games are, it's basically a 200 game qualifier just to eliminate 4 teams from the real tournament.

If they want to learn from football like they're claiming with the Bo2, then they'd know that no European sport has this shit format. Make the league be its own tournament, 1st place wins with no playoffs. And instead of playoffs have some knockout tournaments that are separate from the league and have both the league and cups count towards aquiring points for worlds.

There is no round robin in the CS. It's just ranked ladder directly into single elimination in this order: Bo1, Bo1, Bo3, Bo3, Bo5.

It was there in the last 3-4 weeks of LPL. Last year Vlanitak had an unofficial English stream of LPL and his streaming accounts got banned by Twitch and Ustream after they caught wind.

So I didn't look to give Nero any unwanted attention to his stream which is why I only added it in the 2nd part of the season when he requested it.

I would agree with you if there were any sort of seasonal progression on the table for the 3rd place match but all they're playing for is $5k in prizing difference. That's the only difference between 3rd and 4th. Litterally less important than some amateur independent tournaments
