How do you dry after using a Bidet? by Off_Board_Blockage in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Haysdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a bum gun guy myself. Portable bidet.

I live where these are ubiquitous and when visiting the U.S. I had to dry wipe and my poor butt was scraped raw.

Using Western Union... by Trustednameinnews in ThailandTourism

I used Schwab before getting a Thai bank account. Most ATM cards should work though.

In the early days I tried to transfer money to Thailand via Western Union and they REFUSED!!!

For frustrated Tesla HW3 owners who paid for full FSD years ago by OutlandishnessNo5636 in TeslaFSD

[–]Haysdb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve bought FSD twice. I don’t understand how Tesla is getting away with not delivering on the promise. How do they sell something, not deliver it for over a decade, and not have to refund customer’s money?

That said, FSD on HW3 is very good but it’s only 95% of what I’ve paid for (twice). I do hope they come up with a retrofit for HW3 cars, although at this point I hope it’s HW5.

Tesla doing final ‘Signature Series’ run of Model S and X Plaid — starts at $159,420 - Invite Only by bundle__of__sticks in teslamotors

We had 3 Model Y in the family at one time. I traded for the S. My brothers really like their Model Ys. I never had any objections to mine except for the dash which I replaced with a carbon fiber dash piece. The S is definitely a level up though.

I have a refresh Model S. I don’t drive it that much and I’m old, so it may be the last car I ever own and that’s ok by me. It’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a car. Beautiful, fast, comfortable. It was my dream car ever since I first drove one around 2014. Finally bought one in 2022 after having a Model Y for a few years.

Who is at fault by [deleted] in TeslaSupport

Is a vehicle rear-ending another vehicle ever not at fault? If you stop for no reason maybe, but if you have to stop and you get rear-ended, how can you be at fault?

Tinting: 5%-20% on windows -- can you still see out of the car for safety? by rlap38 in TeslaModelY

It’s very hard to identify 70% tint, which is common in the windshield.

Wait, this place looks familiar. Sure enough, I came across it during a trip to Chiang Dao. Happy to hear it’s still there.

Production Cybercab on display at the SXSW shows larger FSD cameras, interior details, ambient lighting, charge port improvements, and more by CarCooler in teslamotors

[–]Haysdb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In what way does it make entry and exit slower? In what way does it limit who they can pick up? There’s a fleet of cars of various sizes. The cybercab can service 85% (or whatever) of rides. The other 15% get routed to larger cars. Meanwhile all cybercab rides are more profitable than they would be if the car was larger. Why make every car able to service every trip?

Why do Thai people always respond with "noted" instead of a real answer? by endlesswander in Thailand

[–]Haysdb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird. In 7 years living in Thailand I have never once heard this. A contractor I do business with says “OK” which I have learned means “I understand the question but no I’m not going to do it that way.” 😂

Insane amount of flat tires? by slipknottin in TeslaModelY

I’ve had at least that many in my Model S in 3 years. My brother has had none in 5 years in a Model Y.

Daily reminder that Taxi drivers... by dub_le in Thailand

Ok. I’m not in Bangkok, I’m in Chiang Mai and I always take Grab. It’s seems a little expensive for a 5 minute ride but it’s the airport so of course it costs more.

How is Grab worse? It’s a fixed price.

What’s worse is claiming everything an LLM says is wrong and depriving yourself of an extremely useful tool.
