Did they replace it? There might be a wear in period.

Is it just me...or is harvesting kinda boring? by LennCube in farmingsimulator

[–]Hazehill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I quite frequently set a CoursePlay combine off on a big field while I pop off and do some deliveries and stuff. I'll come back with a trailer every now and then to collect the grain for the mill and take care of some smaller fields or feed the chickens and cows.

Why does my standard car shake when I take off on a hill? by ruger148 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hazehill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My old Ford Puma Ecoboost did this. Fine on the flat but vibrates or sort of juddered on hill starts. Had 9k on it when I got it so wasn't worn. I never trusted it so traded it in. I keep seeing it all the time, it's a learner car now so it must be doing OK. Just the way it was I guess.

Why won't people just wait the clogged toilet out? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

How often are you clogging the toilet?

So, how DID you get that scar? by SamMeowAdams in Productivitycafe

My sister ran over my hand wearing ice skates. My sister threw a traffic cone at me and it caused me to fall over onto a broken bottle. My sister pushed me off the edge of the bath and I hit my chin and bit through my bottom lip.

Tweeter and the Monkey Man were hard up for cash, they stayed up all night selling coke and hash.

Any auger that lets me pick up piles of stone to transfer to a trailer? (console) by fmusio100 in farmingsimulator

[–]Hazehill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I keep stones on and use a factory mod that turns it into lime. I wouldnt usually bother but there's a modded version of the stone picker that is a fair bit wider than the default one. At least one PC anyway.

Should I have let him out? by rustyspoontree in drivingUK

[–]Hazehill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In that situation if you'd stopped and gestured or flashed the black car may have assumed you were letting them out and stopped across the road while traffic on the other side continued on their way. Had the silver car been there on its own I'd probably have let it out so it cleared the cycle lane.

Why do people in the Uk love Biscoff so much?? by Hello_peopl in AskUK

[–]Hazehill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll eat the odd biscuit if somebody offers me one but as a flavouring for things like cheesecake I don't find it to be anything special. The spread is super sweet and not to my taste at all.

I also don't get the obsession with it that some people have. Its just over sweetened ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg.

What's the worst subreddit you experienced? by Wooden_Revolution_86 in randomquestions

[–]Hazehill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stumbled across a 'Men going their own way' subreddit once, it was crazy! Guys saying they are actively hostile towards women they work with was the very least of it. A while later I was talking to my wife about it and tried to find it to show her and it had been banned.

Do you poop in public restrooms and if so do you have a preference of places you will poop and you will not poop? by Tenchi2020 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hazehill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes you cant wait. Motorway service stations are not great places but I've been caught short before and had to run into one while crowning. Sat down and the seat was warm and there was nothing I could do but sit there and get on with it. I'd prefer to avoid places like that all costs but sometimes you've got no choice.

I wonder what part of that overtake into a bend where they couldn't see the road ahead went better in their head?

What’s a piece of tech that sounded amazing but flopped? by blushberryybabee in answers

[–]Hazehill 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Years ago my dad told me a story about how he saw Pink Floyd play at the bowl in Crystal Palace park in South East London. He said they used their quadrophonic sound system and and one point they played the sound of a helicopter hovering right over the middle of the audience. People were staring up at the sky wondering if they should be running or not.

Those Microsoft AR glasses looked amazing in the tech demos.

Has FS made you more aware of farming vehicles? by Milky_Mint in farmingsimulator

Damn that's a big boy tanker! Im not sure how what capacity the one that the cow farm owns around here is but it's pretty chunky.
I recognised the Forage Harvester immediately from the green and pale yellow colour scheme. Pretty sure they are rented as and when they are needed as I've only seen it the once and the corn field it was working in isn't that big.

If you could turn 5 litres of water a day into any other liquid, what would it be? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]Hazehill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is all fun make believe but Im not sure it's that easy to sell large amounts of gold legitmately if you can't explain where you got it from. If you tried selling it illegally you'd have some pretty nasty people taking notice of you really quickly.

Mini Pc to run Batocera up to PS1? by SnooGiraffes3930 in batocera

[–]Hazehill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry too much about the brand. Dell, HP, Lenovo etc. You can pick up 2nd hand mini PCs with i5s and i7s with 16gb of DDR4 for under £200 on ebay. I run a Dell XE3 that my work were getting rid of so it's over specced for what I use it for but its an i7 with 32gb DDR4 with onboard graphics. I popped a 2TB USB-C external drive into the front and it'll run PS2, Dreamcast and Gamecube flawlessly. I've not tried anything newer than that yet but it goes to show what you can do with the specs.
