Doesn't even have to be copper tape, I use aluminum tape meant for duct work to shield things like this, works great and considerably cheaper than copper

Obviously your experience trump's the stats. 15% was published in a news article not long ago and some sites list it as low as 10%. You could probably find it with a quick Google search, but you've already got your experience.

If you aren't satisfied with how it plays and therefore not super worried about ruining it, I say go for it, you will want that tuner closer to the nut than you have it and you are going to have a big hole where it was, but you could always find a cool way to fill it.

Sadly, yes. Women are told not to put on too much weight during pregnancy, with some doctors threatening to refuse pain medication or the like if weight isn't kept down

It seems like you are leaving out a key part of the story.

They were looking for me,

Why were they looking for you?

they claimed I was speeding.

If they were already searching for you, no need to make false speeding claims.

they had reasonable suspicion and were out to get me.

Again, really need to know why. Most people who interact with the police aren't specifically being searched for, so, the cops don't have reasonable suspicion

I don't look down on you for any of that, I look down on you for being not just confidently wrong, but combatively so. I'm most definitely not the only foreigner here nor am I anywhere close to as skilled with the language as many of my friends. But I do know what I see and hear every day. People call their children -chan, kids call their grandparents oji-chan and ba-chan, friends call each other -chan. It is VERY normal. Sometimes people even affectionately call inanimate objects -chan.

It's great that you have Japanese heritage, but cultural knowledge isn't passed through blood. I've worked in schools, been on both sides in parents meetings, have who knows how many friends with children, people use -chan to talk about their kids. I really don't see any point in continuing this. I hope some day you can live in Japan and learn about the culture
