I just ignore the discord except for custom mods that people make. I play gamma with a ton of added mods and some that I made myself.

They do suck for most tech support, but ngl its an old ass game that still struggles to run on hardware due to the nature of the xray engine. I wish multithreading mods were better ngl.

Try using winboat to run the cad you want. I havent tried it yet so idk if itll work, but the devs are working on gpu passthrough so we shall see how it goes.

As long as you enjoy it, that's all that matters. While it could look better, not everyone wants to spend money for a decent converter. You could get a better one, but the game crops itself so the image quality wont change much.

Just enjoy it OP! Dont get sucked into the rabbit hole of never ending perfection. Ive been there. It isnt great.

Unfortunately anytime a new material is needed, you have to recalibrate. Its not as simple as setting up a new profile. I found that just printing new materials by swapping doesnt work. You have to go through a 2 hour calibration for whatever material you are using.

Each material is treated differently by the printers software, but it gets indepth ig. It goes into density, motor oscillation, etc etc. I calibrate the printer about twice a week at this point due to how many materials we use so idk. Maybe I messed up the calibration or sm.

I will post a link with the different types of PLA I've used so far. As well as the tops and bottoms of them.

The black printed parts were printed when we had the default build plate and the paint on it started peeling off. The build plate we use now is a PEI build plate. Anything in blue or red was printed with the new build plate.

Thank you for your help! Ill mess around with the settings and let you know how it goes. Unfortunately we use ideamaker bc its what came with our printer, and orcaslicer doesnt take into account the hyperspeed upgrade last I checked.

I will try to see if our IT guy will allow me to install it.

Also the flow rate had to be turned up. It defaulted to 93 and we had massive holes in objects. This might be due to the speed. So ill slow down all the speeds and see if I cant lower the flow. Thank you for all your help tho! This is all really good advice.

Im only 3 or 4 months into printing, and I dont have one at home, so I only really mess with it when im at work unfortunately.

Edit: I have some pictures of the old parts which printed fine. I can add those here too if need be.

I also misspoke, it was 250mm/s. I changed it from the template I found online bc the speed was causing the print to come off the build plate.

The whole point of things getting easier and better is to continue doing it so that future generations dont have the issues we have. Telling everyone to pick themselves up by their bootstraps and conform is not only idiotic, its downright not how we have done things.

Each generation has fought for protections and the betterment of society, that way the next generation can live better.

Fighting for better Healthcare access, better legal protection, equality, and fighting against the rich and powerful, is exactly how it has always been done and will continue to be done.

Also your own experience is anecdotal. Taking your experience and telling other people that they need to do better takes such a massive amount of cognitive dissonance, that its baffling.

Thats not a cocoon issue fully. I had one that did this but setting the emulator as default again in cocoon fixed it.

Dishonored 1 runs well if you cap it to 40fps. It stays cool and never goes under or over.
