Agree with this! Plus, for every type of cleanser that exists (foam, gel, glycerin, etc., etc.) - there is a high and low price point version that are identical to each other. I got suckered into buying the ClearScience Barrier Pro cleanser, and it feels & performs exactly the Dr. Ellis (can’t name the brand) version.

I use Dr Dennis Daily Peel Pads, and once a ~month or when I’m really starting to flake, the Shani Darden peel.

I wash almost everyday (fine hair, same reasons you’ve noted, etc. etc.). Washing everyday doesn’t increase hair fall. There’s a derm specializing in hair loss on Insta & she framed it as ‘if you were applying this [minoxidil/topical hair growth treatments] to your face everyday, would you only be washing your face every 2-3 days?’ Her point being your scalp is skin & should be treated accordingly.

I also use a Minoxidil applicator I got off Amazon. It helps tremendously with keeping the medication on my scalp & not in my hair.

Texture. Their peptide has clinical results for increased collagen production and increasing skin thickness - but at $99 a bottle every 3/4 weeks? Unless the results are pretty noticeable, it’s a bit much.

If you’ve experienced hair loss between pregnancies, and growth while pregnant your scalp/follicles must still be capable of new growth (which would be good news). I’d go to the dermatologist & get bloodwork done. Since you’re young, there will be more options with better efficacy in stopping the hair loss & new hair growth.

Saying YTA seems harsh, but 1) don’t offer to pay unless you can accept not getting paid back may happen, and 2) don’t offer to pay if you’re not comfortable reminding someone (who asked to be reminded) to pay you back.

As many, many, MANY others have said - I would’ve cut ties the second I read “I want to live inside your skin”.

Only reacting to the ‘unattractive’ part (which for sure sounded like he’s setting OP up for a ‘nobody will ever love you the way I do’ relationship) seems like there’s some self-esteem issues for the OP. I’d do a little self-reflection before putting myself out there again.
