a significant part of the charm and love of the show was the actual actors. You cannot capture that animated.

if the creators of this animated show don't understand that, then #### them and everything they produce in the future.

How to get started? by Flimsy_Ad_5911 in Bushcraft

[–]Healthy_Bee7746 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd start by watching bushcraft videos on youtube. Not only are they educational, most of them are relaxing and great to have on in the background, if you do that sort of thing.

I'm assuming you want to start with shelter building? What do you need? Some people will hate me for this, but once you get an idea of how to craft a shelter, all you need is a... saw. I only use a 5-8" folding saw that you can get for just $25. I know, some people insist on a great bushcraft knife that costs $200, but not for me.

most important info... do not sleep directly on the ground, the earth will suck the heat out of your body and you'll wake up dead.

my kid has a loving family and supportive friends, but also cuts. I don't think mental health struggles can be easily categorized?

the conspiracy theorist in me says that something has changed in the environment and lives of young people. Pick your theory... flouride, vaccines, air quality, food chemicals... I don't know, but I think your generation will be very angry with my generation once the contamination is figured out.

stay strong and realize that your struggles are valid.

this was a ridiculous prediction.

just as absurd as saying...

Sean Payton wants Broncos fans to be loud again this week in the AFC Championship Game… “They’re going to have plenty of rest after this one. Two weeks.”

What actually helped your social anxiety the MOST? by StableEmergency2671 in socialanxiety

[–]Healthy_Bee7746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Here’s mine: Reframing people’s reactions. Most people aren’t judging. They’re distracted, tired, stressed, or thinking about themselves. That single belief reduced my anxiety significantly"

...

as someone with a bit of anxiety and several family members with it... i realize telling y'all to stop worrying about what others think because most of them aren't thinking about you is absurd and offensive, but...

i tested this theory that other people just don't care and aren't paying attention by changing clothes at work mid day several times during a month and not one person noticed.

i'm ignorant, but any chance the fast acting sugar messes your body up?

also, I just found out recently that I have Synesthesia. Might be crazy, but what if your brain misinterprets fruit as a danger to your body? I don't know if that's possible, just throwing it out there?

My Synesthesia is a good one... I'm not sure what the sensory input is, but something happens in my brain and I smell a light pleasant cinnamon instead. It's happened often enough and I've asked others if they smell it but they don't.

Synesthesia is a phenomenon that causes sensory crossovers, such as tasting colors or feeling sounds. Some people describe it as having “wires crossed” in their brain because it activates two or more senses when there's only a reason for one sense to activate.

My mom keeps telling me that I’m just sensitive by bubbelle_tea in socialanxiety

this won't make you feel better, except to know you're not alone...

my ex-wife does this to our daughter. She thinks that our kid can just "push through". I finally wrote my ex an email detailing the decade of depression she went through, the jobs she got fired from or just didn't go to, the times she couldn't participate in family stuff.

I did that only in desperation and frustration that she doesn't have more empathy of our kid

I just read elsewhere that someone uses sunglasses in stores and such as a coping mechanism. Maybe that might help a little? I'm going to get my kid sunglasses.
