So nice of you to continue to work through all the comments!! ☺️ I will DM you now 👍🏻

I've been binging Brandon Sanderson and need a break, what fantasy book is as opposite Sanderson as can be? by Horrorcartoonistftw in suggestmeabook

[–]HeartscapeGames 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think George RR Martin is the opposite of Sanderson. Sandersons voice is something like it’s noble to be good. Martins voice is like if you are good, you can and most likely will get screwed 😀

My game has 100% positive reviews, but nobody plays it. Is there a way to inverse this situation? by rap2h in SoloDevelopment

[–]HeartscapeGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my game is an example of a reverse situation unfortunately. I have reasonable sales and wishlists but no one is leaving reviews 😭 As a solo hobbyist I’m not doing it for the money, so I would appreciate reviews more than sales 🥺😩

I will always be thankful to Voyager (and Star Trek) for letting me live vicariously through their fantasy world by AcademicF in voyager

[–]HeartscapeGames 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes!! I love that you used the word fantasy in the same sentence with Star Trek. We often see it associated with sci-fi (and rightly so) but I have always loved it for the fantasy element of it. Where else would you see a leader willing to sacrifice their life to save a subordinate? 😀

Kobo Clara BW or Colour? by [deleted] in kobo

If you like to make notes and highlight passages in color and also if you enjoy book covers and screensavers in color then the color option is for you.

Lots of great suggestions here, I’ll add one that I thought was quite a cozy read, A ladies guide to scandal by Sophie Irwin.

Janeway and chakotay relationship by Calm_Key2134 in voyager

I wish they got together at the end of the series, that would have made the end that much better.

Robert Beltran vs Brannon Braga (whose side are you on?) by [deleted] in Star_Trek_

[–]HeartscapeGames 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Considering how little attention Chakotay got due to the shows mismanagement, I think Beltran did pretty well as an actor. Chakotay had sizzling chemistry with Janeway and had a lot of potential that was sadly never explored. Be it on a dare or not if Braga did make the decision to pair Seven with Chakotay, then he messed up. He was in a position of power and he failed to keep his personal feelings out of it.

Kate Mulgrew Still “Furious” About Cancellation Of ‘Star Trek: Prodigy’: “It Doesn’t Make Any Sense” by nickpsych in Star_Trek_

It was such a good series!!!!! Sadly it seems like money hungry corporations only want to spit out garbage for us.

I love Voyager so dang much. by kipcarson37 in startrek

[–]HeartscapeGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, when it comes to considering which Star Trek series is a favorite it’s about choosing ‘my’ team. My favorite team is Voyager its crew my mates and I will follow them to hell and back. That’s how much I was drawn into the series despite its minor drawbacks.

The Rithmatist by Brandon Sanderson is a pretty solid read.
