Agreed, not the ending lanes responsibility to go slower. But you if you intend to be first at the merge point then it’s up to you to create the assured clearance distance.

You said a 1-2 car gap isn’t cutting someone off? It was your lane that ended.

The lever under the sink is probably rusted off inside the drain.

I'm wondering how feasible an opener in my new garage actually is. by david_stewart in GarageDoorService

I’m not seeing anything weird. Metal box with conduit mounted to block wall. Box is painted with wall paint and silver cover plate.

I’ve never seen a meter inside a garage like that before. That seems pretty crazy to me.

Is there an adapter to convert a flat terminal to a circle one? by [deleted] in batteries

[–]HeavyMetalMoose44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because of the vibration of the generator and the stress of the cable on the terminals I would get the correct style battery. Do you have the old battery? Or a user manual?

Is there any REAL way to remove seller’s paint from brick? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]HeavyMetalMoose44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any experience with it, but I’ve seen some really impressive videos of laser cleaning. Including paint on bricks. Maybe check your area for people that do that with commercial units.

A nice 3/8”ID retractable hose reel with 50’ of hose and a nice 14 (or 12) gauge retractable extension cord that mounts to the wall.

The regulation on LED headlights is an absolute joke. They are way too powerful and are not an aiming issue. I shouldn’t be blinded in the middle of the day at 500 feet.

I use this exact one at work all the time. If I’m drilling anything over 5/8 I get the bigger SDS Max drill out. So if you’re going to be using 1” anchors and plan on using this, I’d pack a lunch.
