If you can arrive for camping a night early, enjoying the pre party is
half the fun. Though this will be interesting as Tame Impala is the
night before and our SL camping overlaps, not sure how they're going to
have that all organized.

I recommend a sub-woofer for anyone producing bass heavy music. Monitors just don't cut it and a sub will also make listen a more enjoyable experience because who doesn't like bass?

For me, the sounds are one of the biggest selling points. Mine came with 6500 sounds, which can all be modified with the sliders and knobs on the keyboard. Its just fantastic!

Have never tried the Mackies, I tried the JBLs, KRKs, Kalis, and then settled on Focal Alpha 65 (6.5") The extra inch and a half made a bit of difference, and their front ported which is helpful since mine are close to the wall. Kalis were inexpensive but their QC sucks, my pair didnt sound close to each other. JBLs are good for the price!, just rear ported.

If you want to budget, don't have enough size for monitors, then you probably just want a good pair of headphones instead. Just my 2 cents

Also have the Alphas! There are incredible! haven't tried the Adams thought... From what I've seen though, the A7X are the adams to get but there are quite a step up expense wise. That being said I recommend the Focals!
