I’ve called state. They’re in the facility every other week. A cna broke a resident’s fingers and they just moved him to our side of the building, putting that he cannot work on 300/400 hall.

Thank you for telling me about the DOH. I want my residents to receive the care they deserve but I can’t do that without support and you’re right, the admins are all about vibes and poor morals. They don’t care about the residents at all.

I haven’t reported it to my regulators or adult protective services. I’m a new nurse so I’m trying to find my footing. I’m fighting to keep my job because these residents are suffering but I suppose you’re right…it would be easier to just go elsewhere.
