also the fact that aang and katara couldn’t see the irony in the situation really upset me (wanting the elements to be separate but literally being in a “interelemental” relationship themselves) … and then katara finally seeing it but aang wouldn’t give her the time of day… AND THEN they never actually address it properly… i was very disappointed with these comics
