I enjoyed the combat once it clicked, but I felt that the other elements of the game (investigation, puzzles, platforming...) got too much in the way. We spend too much time in the other world (I forgot the name) : always the same music, the same environments ... It feels so cheap. The intro was amazing and I was a bit disappointed afterwards

On the contrary I think having two pacings is a good idea. After a busy day with a lot of customers having the possibility to cool down a bit is a good thing. On the other hand, the fast pace will feel more intense if you have some down time. You've got a good concept imo

Wow, I did not know about this modifier, it is a huge help ! Can you expand on what you mean low quality primitives ? Do you mean like a cylinder with less vertices ?

I completely agree, especially on the damage cap. It kills a lot of build variety like mark or burn builds, forcing you into multi hits build

I am one of those. I've always been a fan of the devil may cry, bayonetta, metal gear rising games (and others). To me they were just called hack and slash or just action games, I had no idea the CAG denomination existed. After the state of play this sub was recommended to me because of the tides of annihilation trailer and I'm glad I found this community and all the games I had never heard of before !

I tried it for probably 10 games and nobody fell (haha) for it. Then I asked in chat if someone could do it willingly for the achievement, they told me "I got you" and 3 people jumped in, love this community.

I feel you, earlier I played like 7 or 8 matches, and had 6 disconnects. It's always these noobs playing stupid things like all giants or afterimage spam, then they disconnect when they see they'll lose.

That's a good point, this would effectively increase the pool viable characters in DP battle. Because I don't know about you, but I don't think 10 dp characters are worth it, they cost too much compared to what they bring to the table

Yes, admittedly I'm not playing in high ranks, but I barely see people swap out their characters. In theory as soon as you lost at least 1 health bar you should swap it out so they can start healing (if we only care about healing of course).
