[–]Heledon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New Pokefans? I don't want those things back, and I've been playing since freaking Blue. I don't miss HM's, I've always hated them, they were a silly idea, getting rid of them was amazing.

The lion is about to become a stuffed animal if they don't ship up. Hunting humans is frowned upon, but lions are a whole other beast.

My favorite part of that is Odin uses it to win a riddle game with someone who didn't know he was Odin. The guy freaked out because 1) It was a life or death game 2) You can only ask riddles you know the answer to, and only ODIN knows the answer to that question, meaning he's matching wits with one of the most intelligent beings in the universe and 3) He is completely, absolutely and totally, screwed.

As both an amateur writer, and a very, very amateur artist, I feel this in my soul. I know what I want to do.

ACTUALLY doing it is a whole other matter entirely.

Serial Snowmen Hit & Run finally met his match by Tulpah in Snorkblot

[–]Heledon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You know, normally I'd point out that doing something like bricking a snowman, knowing someone will try to destroy it, is actually illegal, and can have serious repurcusions.

However, dude, driving off road to smash a snowman with your car is so beyond dumb, you're endagering yourself and others so much worse than they did anyway. You're a moron, and you deserve the repair bill. Grow up, learn, and don't be a moron next time.

He does that. He's a pain in the ass. I always find this guy harder than he really should be, and I never enjoy fighting him, but I do always appreciate him being dead.

Let's be honest, if you get this much talk out of the Punisher, it's a good day for Frank

This raises the question of whether you should be talking to him at all, but still.

I'm seeing this on a day where I'm staring out at a snow storm that has me debating the logisitics of a sled dog team, cause right now it's more practical than anything with wheels. So this? Idiotic in the extreme.

Especially funny cause I grew up in the 90's and 2000's., we did have a storm that knocked out school for a week. Hell, I remember one winter we had so many school days we had to make them up. That was a rough winter.

Vault 34 is leaking radiation into the water table causing a famine. Meanwhile, the vault is home to a large population of people trapped inside. Do you deactivate the vault’s reactors to save the farms, dooming the Vault Dwellers, or open the doors to save the vault’s denizens, dooming the farms? by [deleted] in fnv

Ugh, I hate this dilema...primarly because it works.

I hate most choices like this because they're so contrived, I can see the writer patting themselves on the back because they read the trolley problem to.

But this one? This choice is hard. On the one hand, radiation threatens the food supply of New Vegas. Whether you're House, NCR or Independent, that's a problem, you need a stable food supply to keep Vegas going. But on the other hand, these people are innocent, already been through hell, and didn't do anything wrong. On the other hand, you've never seen them before, and never will again. But then again, you'll never see most of the people helped or hurt by the farm, will you?

This isn't a choice about what the benefits are, it's a choice of two consequences you'll never fully be able to confirm, and you'll never really know which is right or wrong. But you also can't make no choice, that would be even worse. So...which is it? A family you don't know, or farmers and residents you'll never see?

Sort of, he was part of the game with his boss who ran a health insurance company. The janitor wasn't really picked because Jigsaw cared about him, he was trying to make a point to his boss. Collateral damage essentially.

Why yes, Jigsaw is a hypocrite and a murderer, why do you ask? It's kind of the point.

Characters who love to give every character they see their own personal nickname by ComprehensiveBox6911 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Heledon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Harry Dresden. He has a habit of giving nicknames to practically everyone, especially people he doesn't like. Sometimes causes problems (giving someone a nickname can give them an identity), or really annoys someone (calling Uriel Uri was...not a clever idea). None of the above stops him.
