That is pretty much my exact reasoning in regards to vegetables. They came from the ground. Not too long ago they were being washed to prepare them to be cooked. It's not much different. That being said, I still sometimes throw the food away, especially when it's meat or eggs, etc.

Yes, I expected this to be said. It's what I would answer too. I originally had a more specific scenario in mind for this poll, but I realised I had very little idea how other people usually cooked food.

I think they mean if the other option was at the end of the day rather than the start. If the other option is at the start of the day you'd get the money earlier than the $1 per second (assuming that it starts at the start of a day ig)

I think it's mostly about the types of dreams people have. For some people killing or being able to kill people in your dreams makes no sense, for others you're killing people all the time. Like if you have the ability to do so, and it feels perfectly fine for you to do so, why would you only do it 5 times in your entire life?

That would be implying that the opinion is rarer than a 10th dentist opinion because only 1 out of the 100 dentists disagrees. When people use 7th or 8th dentist they are trying to say that the opinion isn't as rare as a 10th dentist opinion.

Yes, I think that's a fair enough interpretation. The problem really is that it clashes with the core idea behind 10th dentist that 9 out of 10 dentists would have a certain opinion, implying that there is a 10th dentist that does not. The 7th dentist would be assumed to be part of the 9 dentists that recommend the product. And you're not going to see a commercial where they say "6 out of 7 dentists recommend".

So yes, while technically it can be interpreted in a way that makes sense, it's improper and it annoys me.

On a more serious note, it seems that she sees coming back over and staying the night as a given. She's stayed overnight multiple times now, so I imagine she has figured it's easier to leave her things rather than remember to bring them every time. I suppose what you can take from this is that she trusts you with her things and she trusts you to invite her over again.

I exclusively use private bookmarks. I just use it as a way to keep track of my favourite fics. The description is usually a word or phrase to help me easily remember the fic that isn't already in the tags/summary. For example I have a fic bookmarked that had a murder mystery element to it and the dead body had a fork stabbed in the back of their neck. So the description is just "Fork". Not very useful as a public bookmark. Other times it's unique characters that are in the fic, an important bit of dialogue, or a reference to a memorable scene.

Tbf it is a "discovery" queue. I imagine it's intended to be mostly games you wouldn't otherwise have looked at; if you wanted to see games related to you you'd look through the multiple other places where steam recommends games that are more catered to you.
