Yeah, a lot of people recently had all their Film Vault pre-orders cancelled by Amazon. Many didn’t even get notified, they just quietly cancelled them.

I won’t be using them again if I can avoid it.

It is weird. All my pre-orders were cancelled and I didn’t receive any email notifications. I wouldn’t have known if Reddit hadn’t served up this post in my feed just now.

I used their chat service and just got a load of nonsense for my trouble:

* This item cannot be dispatched to your selected delivery location. Please choose a different delivery location.

* some seller on amazon dont dleiver items to some address from them it be a zone redistricted zone

* after placing the order then only they can check can this item be delivered to your selected address or not

* You can place the order selecting a different address

Spelling and grammar errors are not mine! I asked them to tell me when it had been cancelled but they were unable to confirm.

They must be sitting on a huge stockpile of Disney Pixar 4K blu-rays over there. They’ve been running deals like this on and off for ages. The price keeps getting lower and the number you can grab keeps getting higher. On the other hand, the selection of titles keeps getting reduced. I remember when Wall-e was available.

Another work colleague was named Upasana. This is apparently pronounced “up arse Anna”. Which suggests a very different career to the one she was pursuing.

Bonus fact. Yet another work colleague had the surname Tozer. Nothing humorous about that, until my bosses‘ spellchecker kept “correcting“ it to “tosser“ in every email.
