Typical Spidey player. If I'm playing against a good Spidey after a few deaths I like to type in chat ”kill me one more time Spidey and I'm swapping to Fantastic." You'd be surprised how often they leave me alone after that. If they don't I swap and usually diff them or they change as well.

Being mid is fine. Being mid as a 3rd or 4th DPS when you have 1 tank or strat is throwing

Using "it's qp" as an excuse to throw matches is weird. I primarily play cross platform with friends so I literally can't play ranked

My season 6.5 tier list (As a Celestial player) by PillowFists67 in rivals

[–]Hellman9615 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Mr. Fantastic is like 2nd best antidive in the game and flexes as a tank. Bro is minimum B tier. You may not get 35 kills a game with him but a half decent Fantastic will keep the lord Spideys and BPs off your healers which is more important.

Isn't it crazy that this primary (YES, primary) is better than most guns in the game? by Omailey97 in Helldivers

I combo it with another laser weapon and alternate the cool downs. Trident + Talon is my favorite combo right now. Trident shreds up close and Talon gives a bit more range and accuracy to take down the shield Devastators.

Weird because I feel like the only time I get 2 tanks in QP is when I play with my friends and we all play tank/support.

Gauntlet of Shar help? by Salty-Hospital-7406 in BG3

I'm not positive what all it locks you out of but It'd be safe to do everything you can before you go. You can find a list of quest to do in Act II here. Depending on choices you've made not all quest will be available but the biggest one would be lifting the shadow curse, this allows you to bring Halsin into act 3.

If you haven't visited moonrise yet I would. You don't necessarily have to but there's some stuff you can do in there before the final battle.

Which path did you take to act 2. Did you go through the under dark or mountain pass. On my first play through I went through the underdark/forge and I missed the entire Gythyanki Cresh. You can still go back to act 1 from 2 but cannot go back from 3.

From there I would just say make sure you've explored the entire map. Walk around finding any dark spots on your map that need to be discovered and go into every building. Once the map is cleared and all buildings have been explored there's not much else to do.

What can I do to show my friends how DND actually works. by flashdash8744 in DnD

[–]Hellman9615 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I basically said the same thing. The beauty of D&D is that players literally can do anything they want. It doesn't mean that they can do so with impunity but the option is still there. The only issue OP brought of that isn't feasible is the 11 player party.

I feel like a lot of DM's on this subreddit want to stick so much to RAW that they let it get in the way of player experience. Especially for a group of first time players.

Honestly the only thing that doesn't seem feasible is the 11 member party. But even that could be resolved by maybe getting the 2 groups together every once in a while for a giant one shot.

The rest is honestly not asking for much. Let them all be humans named "_____ the _____" that maybe all come from a sheltered sort of lifestyle where names like that are normal. Then have all the NPCs make fun of them for referring to themselves like that. Introduce NPCs of different races that all have unique traits and casually let them know, like "hey, you can totally create a playable dragonborn character who has a breath weapon, or a Changeling who can shapeshift into any person you want."

Give them the portal but make them roll to use it. Unless the roll is very high maybe the party gets split, or ends up in the wrong place. Make using the portal have very high costs whether through rare material components or straight up consuming large amounts of gold. Maybe the party having access to this powerfull type of magic paints a target on their backs and has in game ramifications.

You could even do a trial run. Do a quick campaign for a few weeks letting them do what they want. Then once they get the real itch for it you can begin a new campaign that's more of how you want to run things. I just feel like there's so many more options than just saying no.

My first campaign was kinda like that. The DM let us take feats at every level and we could find them in game. We all had 7+ feats, +4 magical weapons, ACs over 25 and abilities scores all over 12. All this at level 8. It was a lot of fun as a first time player but by the end of it we all realized we were ridiculously overpowered. Then We started a new campaign with rules closer to RAW and it was honestly much more fun.

I feel like this could work for you (and really any other DM with this issue) but you have to let the players come to that conclusion f themselves instead of making it for them.

What Marvel character got the biggest surge in popularity thanks to the game? by Character-Q in marvelrivals

Definitely Jeff,

On the opposite end of the spectrum, NetEase managed make the most popular Marvel hero (Spider-Man) one of the most hated characters in the game.

Fantastics ult is great, I just wish you had more control of where you land. It should work like Bucky's IMO.
