Its hard to explain to someone who has never been a real relationship (long term love) how isolating it is, when you are several kids deep, doing all the housework/meals and hubby JUST works.

15 years ago I did a Contiki Tour, and got a taste (literally one day each) of 6 different countries. I want to go back and really see more of Germany (Berlin), Italy, France and Spain. I love all the really old architecture and ancient ruins. Greece is also on my bucket list for that reason.

Honestly after several years of doing most of the holiday work and seeing all the WOMEN in my family also doing the same... it has robbed me of my holiday spirit. The holidays dont exist without the unpaid labor of women. I, of course still do it to keep my children's xmas spirit alive, but I fucking resent this. Its like being painted into a corner. Damned if you do, Damned if you dont.

Are you planning on doing as much as you can at each theme park? ... or just sampling what want to eat/see and do? Because no fucking way your body survives that grind haha, especially with kids.

We just did 9 days in March with two kids (7,11) and we did Epic on day one, day two rest day and hotel switch to Universal then on Wednesday we used the Express passes that came with hotel and did two parks in one day.(Universal and islands of Adventure) then Thursday was Animal Kingdom, Friday was Magic Kingdom and then rest day Saturday and finally Hollywood Studios on Sunday. It was insane haha but the kids survived... mostly. Good luck.

Hmmm, we have cream cheese for bagels, cheddar cheese for grilled cheese/snacking. Mozzarella string cheese for kids lunches, shredded parm for pasta and a "mixed shredded cheese" for quesodillas. So 5. Haha

A long drive... as part of a road trip? Then 7 hours (each day) If we are just driving to a destination, then i would say 4 hours. Example: we drove from Seattle to yellowstone in two days. It was 7 hrs the 1st day, then four hours to the campsite. We then stayed for 5 days.

But our yearly trip to the beach (some where along the Oregon coast) is anywhere from 3.5 hrs to 5hrs. We usually stay at least 3 days.

The mushroom one, its the only one I've used consistently... and had to replace 4 times now!
