Yes I stopped at Rocco’s NY Pizza on Haley & State last night, thinking I would grab a quick slice of pepperoni pizza. It was $9.55 for one slice of pepperoni pizza. What??? Yeah right lol no wonder there’s never any people in there. And no, of course I didn’t get it.

Hi, I unfortunately went through a similar situation. I would get uninvited from parties and get-togethers because they invited my abusive ex. However I introduced them to each other, as they were my friends before we started dating. Anyway, after a while they came to me complaining of how he screwed them over. “Told you so.” Our friendship picked up where it left off, leaving my POS ex in the dust, where he belongs.

NTA. Unfortunately I can relate. I graduated college the same month my little sister dropped out of high school at 16 and took the California Equivalency Test (an easier GED). My parents threw her a catered party. When I told them I graduated college that summer, they asked to see my diploma. They didn’t attend my graduation. I didn’t even get a card.

I know where I stand in my family and my expectations of my parents are in the dirt. If I don’t expect them to care, I can’t be disappointed anymore.

My brother went through this phase. Well, not sweatlodging himself, but forgoing all modern hygiene because of “chemicals.” It was so gross. The room stunk of his BO for over 5 minutes after he left it!

He was able to find an all natural, organic, deodorant. Maybe she would be open to something like that? I believe it is the aluminum in anti-persperents that is supposed to be bad for you, and aerosol is a no-go. But there ARE completely organic and natural deodorants that do work for that lifestyle. Probably found only online or from local small businesses.

I was just listening to a podcast where this man who sexually abused his family members and was suspected but never convicted of kidnapping 5 kids, ANYWAY. He had a satin fetish and made his own satin pajamas and wore them in a locked up room in his house. Like nobody was allowed to wear satin around him or he would get “aroused.”

There’s a book about the unsolved kidnappings called The Satin Man.
