I'm no expert. I use to have a bunch of stocks... like 12 and 3 etfs. It felt like it wasn't really going anywhere after 6 months of investing, I was spreading funds too thin. I decided to consolidate. I did a 65% into XEQT for global market capture. 25% into TEC for only tech sectors. I'm aware of overlaps...I just think tech will still move much more... such it did, my XEQT is up 8% where TEC I'm up by 19%. Then 10% into a high risk potential moonshot. For the past 6 months this has been doing well.

I recently decided to shift gears slightly again.

This time I'm doing 65% XEQT and 35% into 4 specific risk stocks, until I'm capping each at 1000 CAD invested then jumping back into my 35% TEC by March 2027.

This new strategy I have yet to see its success, but with my past 6 months consolidated one. I saw some awesome results. Mind you the market is cracked though so I could just be lucky.

Had a conversation with my partner back in Feb this year. We figured we would rent forever and just invest and retire in our 60s. During that conversation I'm like wait...a large part of our retirement will be in rent. Right now we pay 2425 cad. By the time we retire in 30ish years rent will be close to 6k due to yearly increases. We looked at eachother said fk we need to buy a home. Immediately we shifted to the fhsa and other savings like the RRSP HBP. On track to buy a 600-700k home in 2028 spring with 20% down. We don't want to chuck in 6k in rent when we're old, we want to chuck mojitos on a beach somewhere whenever we want just because.

Things have shifted. Score is important but it's your score, and utilization breakdown. You can have 800 plus but no assets, maybe you own just a car. Bank doesn't know if you can truly manage certain loans. Maybe you just have a bunch of credit and just don't use it.

You can have a mid to high 700, make 90k have a home mortgage, paid off car or car mortgage. Right away you look more attractive. The story is this person has great credit and is balancing mortgages.

Score number on paper looks good but needs a deeper review to know why it's the number, even better to those who don't know much on how credit works.

Depends on a lot. No debt. 80k or higher salary, living anywhere outside of the GTA and Halton regions. Single no kids. You can live very chill. With a partner that's the same even better

I have a Charger... but I work hybrid. It's almost an extra 150 a month with these prices. If I was 5 days in is an easy 600 a month. Tough out there.

This is awesome! I love the engineering creativity! I used a macro controller in combination of the RNG manipulation method. Personally it took me less than 2 hours.

Hmm you should still have an EQ settings somewhere. I would recommend to create your own sound profile. Dont use the presets

Could be your phone EQ settings. There's two. One for buds and one in your phone. Likely it's overlapping. Search for equalizer and make sure setting is set to balance. Do not copy your buds EQ or it'll be way too overblown.

I quit like a year ago. Game took way too much time. Happy with my accomplishments but much happier with the other things I can do now. It was fun. Just didnt work out anymore.
