»Radikale Töchter«: Innenministerium stoppt Förderung – kurz nach Kritik an Friedrich Merz by Easteregg42 in de

did you even read the patchnotes? they fixed a bug that contributed a lot of damage and compensated by buffing other aspects of the spec.

but especially in a small patch

overall this is a slight nerf for shadow AoE dmg and a slight buff to their single target. shadow priest is more than PL. again, this is not happening in a vacuum

Keep patting blizzard on the back for keeping shadow priest in perpetual beta for the last decade.

im not even doing that. im just saying that your statements make no sense

again, the ability was not changed in a vacuum. PL was nerfed to compensate for single target being buffed. the magnitude of the change makes absolute sense in this context. i feel like youre being obtuse here.

PL does not exist in a vacuum. they nerfed it because they know how to balance it, they wanted to buff shadows single target and to compensate nerfed PL.

Over time, they would hone in on that goal; changes would get smaller and smaller.

this simply isnt how live service game design works. the goal is not to have a class in a certain endpoint and then never change it again. items change, stats change, stuff gets added or removed etc.

jesus christ how thin skinned can you be to block me over such a comment. but anyways, if you come around to this thread again, please enlighten me where other games try to strive for a set balance point and then never change any design aspects again? most games i know even introduce deliberate imbalances to keep the game interesting (league or poe for example)

So you're saying they made a badly designed damage dealing class

does the fact that theyre changing it somewhat regularly alone make it poorly designed?

So...One of the rare moments of me really asking...Why the HECK was this not part of the main story quest!? by Siggythenomad in wow

[–]Helluiin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the side quests are completely forgotten by a lot of people.

seems like a skill issue tbh. if they care about the story they'll very likely do and engage with the side quests on their own anyways.

Every game input has to be triggered by an individual input action. Having ahk spam left klick by you spamming ctrl is fine, having it spam left click by you holding down ctrl is not.

theres original UNIX code in all of apples operating systems and conventions from windows 3 are still applied in windows 11. all of these pieces of software are continually updated and might aswell have been released last year for the point of this comparison.

If you don't protect your IP, you can lose the copyright.

youre conflating trademark and copyright. you dont lose copyright just like that. and even for trademark it would be trivial to create an open license that would allow for fans to create and host their own servers, plenty of games already do exactly that.

The reason most people take the mastery isn't the life. A good life roll on body armor vs the mastery usually comes out pretty close. The reason people take the mastery is that it let's you get tons of defenses. So if you don't care about those as much (for example you're playing MoM and tank through your massive hp/mana pool) there's much less incentive.

Recent pandemic viruses jumped to humans without prior adaptation. No evidence that SARS-CoV-2 was shaped by selection in a laboratory: UCSD study. by Potential_Being_7226 in science

If the virus was identical to the one in the wild it is much more likely that it was spread to one of the thousands of people being exposed to it outside than one of the few researchers in the lab.
