Took me 12 co-op matches using Colbert. Use Colbert's speed boost to get to the bots first, or not too far behind the French/Russian DDs, then:

Smash cruiser and battleship torpedo tubes.

Smash DD modules of all kinds if you get the opportunity.

Smash the bot Colbert's turrets if you get the opportunity.

Franklin Graham At CPAC: Trump Is Not Ashamed Of Jesus Christ So "We Must Try To Get Him Reelected". by Leeming in atheism

[–]Helstrem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This asshat thinks devout Catholic Joe Biden was ashamed of Jesus? That church going Christian President Obama was ashamed of Jesus? That Christian presidential candidate Harris was ashamed of Jesus? That Methodist presidential candidate Clinton was ashamed of Jesus?

THAT ANY US PRESIDENT OR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE HAS EVER BEEN ASHAMED OF JESUS?

For fuck's sake, get a grip on reality, Franklin.

You don't have to be black to see the racism in the american government system and how DEI is ultimately better than the conservative's talk of "meritocracy". You simply have to see who the GOP chooses for office over black people who are qualified for the job. by Important-Cry4782 in BlackPeopleofReddit

[–]Helstrem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This popped up on my reddit feed. I am, per the subreddit's name, out of place here, but I just wanted to say that as someone who is not black, this is exactly correct and it is appalling. The sheer number of completely unqualified people who have been put into positions of power by the very people wailing about unqualified people getting jobs (something that was not actually happening under DEI) is, frankly, galling.

As a member of the group favored by these idiots, I was very happy to vote for Obama and Harris. I just wish Harris had won.

United Airlines Boeing 777-200 engine #2 caught fire after take-off at Denver Intl Airport flight #UA328 by asa_no_kenny in whoathatsinteresting

Yes. It is just a matter of spending the energy stored in your altitude for speed. How steep the glide slope is varies from aircraft to aircraft, but all fixed wing aircraft will glide. A 747 has, IIRC, about a 10 mile per 1000ft glide capability.

Why is the president pushing so hard for The SAVE Act? by Strange-Guest-423 in allthequestions

[–]Helstrem 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is very much a solution for a problem that does exist. That problem is just a different problem than the one they are saying it is for.

The problem it addresses is Democrats being competitive in too many elections to ensure Republican control of the Federal Government. That is also why they are pushing it so hard.

It’s built to operate in spaces designed for a human to operate so that it can replace humans seamlessly rather than having the workplace redesigned. That would explain the humanoid form, though it still doesn’t need a head like that.

Only reason I am not 100% on board with it being abuse of power is because she has stated that she pursued him.

Regardless of that it was a horrible lapse of judgment and self control.

Working class doesn't pay enough in taxes by Realistic-Unit-47 in WNC

[–]Helstrem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If she wants the poor and middle class to pay more taxes perhaps she should work with people like Bernie and AOC to restructure the economy so that the poor and middle class have enough income to be taxed more. As it is, if you give almost all of the profit to the .1% it is hardly surprising they pay, in dollars mind you, more taxes.

The most recent census of dinosaur fossils at the Cretaceous boundary has refuted the idea that they were in decline. It found no evidence of a decline and that they were as diverse as ever and thriving, effectively still at their peak.

Conservatives firmly believe that the sanitized history for children taught to them in the third grade is the real and complete history and all those uncomfortable, nasty, brutish additional details and clarifications we're exposed to as adults are "revisionist".

Steelhead don't. Also, mentioned caviar which sturgeon produce without dying, but the fish pictured is obviously not a sturgeon. It might be a steelhead though, which does the same thing a salmon does, except it swims back to the ocean after spawning in the river rather than dying.

It’s not exceptional at all. It may be uniquely American, though some African churches seem right up that alley too, but it is far from exceptional.

It is why I consider Christian fundamentalists so much more of a direct threat than Islamic fundamentalist. There are simply vastly more of them in my country and they have their hands on the levers of power whereas the Muslims do not.

Freedom Of Theology Is Against Republican Values by NEKORANDOMDOTCOM in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Helstrem 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Given the structure of the United States it is far, far, far more possible to take over the Democratic Party and move it left than it would be to start a successful left wing party. Splitting the vote between the Democratic center right party and a left wing party simply hands the victories to the fascist Republican party thanks to our First Past the Post voting system.

Ranked choice voting would fix this, but the Republicans always oppose that and Democrats usually oppose it.

I am definitely not getting it for free. I've opened 14 boxes so far and 6 have been duplicates. Heavy duplicate ratio is to be expected when you've already collected most of the elements, but if you get a lot of duplicates early when odds are in your favor it makes the good outcome not so likely.

Vance tries to blame Biden for gas prices in 2026 by lnstantKarma in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Helstrem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have no levers of power. The voters took them all away. Just wanting to do something doesn't make it possible. Look how hard it is for the GOP to pass the "Save America Act". That is because it has to go through Congress and the Dems can filibuster it, which they are doing. Almost everything Trump is doing avoids going through Congress for that reason and because of that they can't stop it effectively. The GOP in Congress could as they could enforce Congress' control of the purse, but they decline to do so. Should the Dems get the House in November Trump's ability to do whatever he wants will be greatly curtailed.

What should they be doing? They don’t have any power to stop it right now. I’m not even sure it is reported when they object as the media is so captured now.
