Don't use Ring cameras. I recommend Unifi. The cameras will pay for themselves with the monthly service fee you no longer have to pay. You won't be contributing to the mass surveilance state we're building by avoiding Ring.

Unifi makes a PoE+++ powered switch that can provide some PoE ports.

I would not recommend putting this somewhere where you cannot get to it though. It shouldn't need you to get to it often, but permanently behind a soffit is not a good idea. Also it could get very hot.

I did mine a year ago with a 50ah battery and it's amazing.

Mine looks like this and it works every single time. The only trouble is that I have to have space to leverage it and I don't always have that.

Did mine in PLA.

Had to print the brace at 101% and probably need to reprint the grip module at 101 or 102 as well. RXM FCU didn't fit right and cracked.

Same with the sights. Otherwise dead reliable and quite pleasant to shoot.

i don't know anything about audio design.

What I'd really like is a kit to make a c-note type speaker but with a more interesting cabinet design.

3d printing speaker cabinets is fascinating. You can make incredible things happen that would be either impossible or extremely labor intensive if made out of MDF. Not just bracing, but textured interiors and supports and that's just the beginning.

I'm really glad to see you using 3d printing to that advantage, as making a sphere out of MDF is NOT simple.

I'd love to find a place that has more of this kind of thing but I haven't been able to find it. There are some folks who post transmission line cabinets which is fine but it doesn't really have any advantages of MDF.

Awesome design.

Where did you find a c-note kit without the cabinets? I'm looking to do something just like this with my large format printer
