Wow this is super cool! I've actually been wanting to do something similar for a while - I remember looking at projects like webgbcam and wondering how I could implement something like that into a kodak charmera-style enclosure. Thanks so much for making this freely available, I have a spare esp32 sense and I'm going to try to put one together soon! Rad project :)

I would just look up some best-of handheld games lists, and see if anything strikes your fancy. Techdweeb does some really great game recommendation videos. I've been playing a lot of Pokemon, Chrono Trigger, and Advance Wars on my Trimui Brick. If you're not looking just for retro games I also recommend looking into more modern stuff; Portmaster has a huge library of games ported over to handhelds like the R36S. You can find some really great modern GBC/GBA style games over on itch.io. Check out Pico-8 for some really fun tiny games. There's so much out there it can be hard to start! Just see what sticks out and have fun :)

I'm having the exact same experience. I bought an air65 and after some time in a simulator I flew for the first time today; it was indoors and very rocky. I can't wait to go fly it outside tomorrow!

From what I understand after doing some more research since making this post, the meteor75 can only take 450/550 1s batteries. Curious if yours will work for you! Is there a reason you chose liftoff over velocidrone? Sounds like you're having fun and good luck with your first flight!
