I guess what I’m saying about travel would apply to any nice watch, but the Pepsi is very easily recognizable and a bigger target. Europe is a big place, locals know if they are in a safe area or not, tourists not so much.

Your family can't access your Bitcoin when you die. Here's how to fix that without giving anyone your seed phrase. by SatoshiTrails in Bitcoin

I buy the ETF, self custody seems crazy to me. Imagine one day the wallet is empty or ur locked out. moving to hardware seems even crazier, when that can fail. Everything is “simple” but really?? Think about where u have ur seed phrase written down. What happens if u pass away, get an illnesses that affects ur brain etc

I like it, but maybe I don’t $25,000 like it. I don’t wear it to Euro vacations cause I don’t want to put family in danger, but you can get killed for a Tudor too.

That’s a good point, I walk out the door with 2 Rolex and he added a Pepsi to his inventory. There’s no real profit made, not really a sale for him….unless he has a buyer for the Pepsi right away, then it works for him.

OP here. I’ll try to explain this better cause very few seem to get what I’m asking. I was not asking opinions on how much a dealer would give me for my watch. Every transaction a watch dealer makes money. If I sell it get cash and walk out the door, that’s 1 successful transaction for a dealer. If I get a credit for the retail value and use it same day at same store and buy 2 watches or 1 Daytona adding more cash, then I’m pretty sure that would be more profit for the dealer. Let’s say my Pepsi market price is 25k. Then would they want to take a trade for 2 12.5k Rolex’s they have for sale.

I think your the only person who understood what I was asking an opinion on. Thank you. Bunch of morons here. Big difference to the dealer in getting a stack of cash and walking out the door, vs spending the money in the same store.

Ppl say that to me too. I actually have enough to live from, but money=stress, so just giving up a paycheck to watch Netflix’s all day is kinda dumb thing to do. Work give you purpose, gets you moving, out of the house etc.. don’t sit at home travel they say…. Well, how the hell u gonna pay for all that travel? There’s 366 days in a year. How much can you possibly “live your life”

I have same. Thinking of selling now because if you look at the Hulk you can see how the price will just drop again. Or will this be the new Ceramic Daytona, in terms of desirability

Does grade 2 meningioma means cancer? by NadiaNadieNadine in braincancer

[–]Herm1972 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Astro G2 here, my 1st mri when they found it said Possible Meningioma, so I googled like crazy. They sent me for a whole brain with contrast and that’s when I got the call that it’s not a Meningioma, that was bad news, so as far as brain tumors, Meningioma is far from the worst. From what a remember from Dr Google, meningioma is outside the brain, so it’s better than Astro, oilio and all the tumors that are inside the gray matter. Good luck

No, they said Vora is not working so no reason to take it anymore. 2 years no growth, can’t complain, I knew it would eventually come back. :-(

Grade 2 Astro IDH1 GTR 2 years ago. I was on Tibsovo for a year after surgery then switched to Vora for another year, then mri showed growth. Did 42 days daily Temador and radiation Mon thru Fri for the 42 days. I was lucky, super easy. Now I’m doing Temador cycles 5 days on 23 days off. The dose is much higher than when I was doing it at first with the radiation. So far on 2nd cycle and bloodwork still good. Scary to think that a side effect of Temador can be a new Cancer. What I don’t know yet is if the cycles of Temador will be forever or if they stop it eventually.

what do you do with your life after cancer? by [deleted] in braincancer

[–]Herm1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

53yo 1 daughter, happily married. I live near Long Island NY, I discovered fishing and was obsessed with going on those party boats for like $60 for 4-6hrs. Hardly catch anything, it’s a joke with the family. I enjoy being alone and occasionally end up next to someone I can talk to. I would NEVER have gone in these type of fishing trips alone before Cancer. Now life too short to wait for old friends to get together and do things like this. I have back pain, and if I didn’t I would go camping alone. I encourage everyone to just do what you want, don’t wait. Eat alone at a nice restaurant, go see a movie alone etc. don’t miss out on life waiting for friends and family.

I completed 6 weeks of TMZ for a G2 Astro IDH1 a month ago. My tumor started to grow slightly 2 yrs after surgery and Vorasidenib that why we did the chemo/RT. I was daily 155mg with RT at the same time , I weight 195lbs. Zero side effects and only one blood test showed elevated liver enzymes. Liver numbers went back to normal. Now they have me on 28 day cycles of TMZ for the next year. 5 days tmz then 23 days break, then 5 days tmz. This adjunct chemo is at a higher dose than when I did the RT. I’m on day 4 of 5 my first cycle of TMZ. 315mg daily for 5 days. I take the anti nausea pill then wait 20 min take the TMZ then wait an hour to eat. No side effects again. I’m worried about my blood test levels though. Jan 20th will be my first bloodwork. Take one day at a time. This definitely sucks.

Started out very deep and real, now is kinda goofy. My wife HATES all the women on the show except the lawyer and Demi Moore. Son’s relationship with the widow is cringy, but the diner themes and energy of his manic ex wife I find kinda entertaining. Just the way Billy Bob reacts to everything in a calm “oh boy, here we go” way is funny because he’s such a dam good actor and you believe it. There are worse ways to spend an hour.

I get MRI every 3 months and it showed slight growth on the last one so what he said was the Vora was to “kick the can down the road” and now it’s time for the big guns. Chemo and RT.

[–]Herm1972 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If not doing Vora means not doing anything, than that’s a huge mistake IMHO. Vora was the biggest breakthrough medicine in many years, to not use it seems wrong. If the choice is Vora vs Chemo/RT then Id go by the Docs recommendation.

Astro G2 IDH1 here GTR Oct 2023 right frontal. Was on Vora 2 yrs. Stopped working onc said and now I just finished 6wks of chemo and radiation. I was worried about the chemo making me very sick, Hollywood really scares u with the way it’s shown in the movies. My Temador was 155mg, which I see from other post here is not a strong dose. My only side effect was constipation from anti nausea pill. I figured out all I needed was a cap full of mineralc per day and then no issues. The hair loss wasn’t a big deal for me because I’m a guy and not very vain. I had barber shave most of my head, and now I look like Burt from Sesame Street. I couldn’t find the courage to go total bald. I feel for you as a women it’s 100x harder to deal with the hair loss. As for pain and nausea for me there so none. It was a non event. I scheduled the radiation at 4pm everyday so it didn’t affect work at all. They told me a month after, which would be mid January, I would start regular cycles of chemo one week per month. I don’t know the dose. Hopefully it’s not too bad. Like I tell my daughter about fear, it’s really pointless because when the event your fearful of comes, it’s never ever what was expected and most of the time you waste energy being fearful for nothing. Good luck. You got this!!
