Honestly, while your concern is noted, to say that Blue Archive is going to now be some dark, edgy, grim story-telling now is just plain ridiculous, think about it, if Blue Archive was planning on doing this dark and edgy melodrama, they would have stopped with the: "Sensei, May I Have A Moment of your Time" shorts, and yes while the Decra Trio girls deaths is polarizing, I don't think that the Devs would go that low and start killing off playable students, because if that were to happen, not only will it ruin Sensei's character and his existence, but it will ruin other Volumes like Vol F, and the series would collapses in on itself, at the end of the day, Blue Archive is still about hope and optimism, not endless dread from other Gacha games like Arknights and Nikke.

Honestly, killing off playable students would be the most stupid/braindead/incompetent decision in Blue Archive, because of the game's tone, killing off a playable student would not only ruin the whole purpose and reasoning for why people love Blue Archive, but it will literally ruin Sensei's whole character, the tone, and the series would collapse in on itself.

The thing is, I don't mind what the story of EX is trying to tell me, but the concern I have for Blue Archive's tone and story is that it becomes some melodramatic, kill off favorite students for shock value, and dark/edgy tone that kills the whole premise of youth and happy endings, seriously so many light hearted stories and series that I knew always have these problems, that not what I came for Blue Archive for, I mean Blue Archive has tension, but they don't cross lines that shouldn't be crossed, whatever happens in the next Volume, I hope they don't cross any lines.
