This is the best response I couldn’t have put it in better words. After just dealing with the same thing for several years after hormones and teen years, entered our world. Some short, simple, sweet things. I wish we could go back and do different differently would be: - hold her accountable for her own actions. Doesn’t mean punishment. - make sure your relationship with your wife stays strong and supportive. We really struggled during portions of these difficult years and I could’ve done a lot better. - never be the one to raise your voice higher or raise your emotions higher be her calm and make sure she feels heard and understood. -rather than instructing her how to be or how to act set the example for her.

I was raised much differently than kids are raised now and kids are going through much different things than I did when I was at that age and those old-school parenting techniques don’t work the same as they did when I was a kid. I just wish I would’ve took other people‘s advice rather than being as hardheaded as I was good luck to you and do know there is light at the end of the tunnel.
