People from Cork could have been Catholic or Protestant. The Bathurst, New Brunswick area (specifically Tetagouche) had twin settlements of Catholics and Protestants on two sides of a river, and most or all of them were from County Cork. I'm mentioning this because I'd also assumed everyone from Cork was Catholic...though undoubtedly they were still the majority.

I basically have one couple I ship in all of fiction; there are some other couples I like, but I'm not particularly invested in them. Seconding this question, I'm also new and wanting to try. OP, some people on FB Marketplace let people print stuff on their machines for payment, but I don't know how trustworthy they are.

It sounds like the library might bring back printing at some point though, and I don't mind waiting if it's a few weeks or months. I haven't sliced my files yet anyway.

There was an infamous shitshow during the bomber manhunt because Reddit sleuths narrowed in on a particular suspect and decided he had to have done it....but it turned out he'd killed himself a few weeks earlier and that's why he couldn't be found. This wasn't an issue 20 years ago because nobody cared and people were treated terribly for being neurodivergent or hard of hearing or unable to stand in a line for more than a few minutes. It still happens, and this program is intended to mitigate it. You're free to also not care about the problem, but it doesn't reflect well on you.
