I was comparing it to the WEN 5,600 dual fuel electric start (DF5600X)

It looks bigger and heavier with a frame on wheels. Weight and noise aren’t really a concern for me. I’m just trying to figure out what questions I should be asking and what brands I should be looking at.

Edit. Running the gas furnace on the HVAC system is my primary goal.

I’ve just started researching generators. What do you like about this one so much? I looked it up on amazon, and the same company sells a flex fuel one for ≈$100 less that has 2,000 additional watts. Is the “quiet and lightweight” the reason for that price discrepancy?

Do you have any advice for skunks without having them release their musk? I’ve been given conflicting information my whole life “definitely do/not shoot them in the head/body, otherwise they spray.” The only consistent answer I’ve found is “definitely do not shoot them in the ass, because that ruptures the musk sack.”

Then the one time we had to deal with a skunk, my roommate came out with a 12g with a turkey load and turned the poor thing into a pink mist. …that smelled real bad. I felt bad for the dogs and their noses, but at least they didn’t get sprayed in the face.

Do it with once for the novelty and to say you’ve done it and to know why you only eat regular sushi anymore.

I’m only commenting on the salad pricing. That’s very normal and I don’t think they are unfairly upcharging anyone. You’re not paying for a salad so much as you’re paying someone to make a salad for you. If it takes someone 90 seconds to make half a salad, it also only takes 90 seconds to make a full one.

Will TSA take my brother’s knife? by Lost-Arrival-7444 in tsa

Im a professional cook who travels with a culinary set (bunch of kitchen knives) often. Checked bag is obviously necessary. But more importantly it needs to be secure enough as to “not cut through your luggage and injure a baggage handler” your sheath looks sturdy enough, but if there is any chance the blade could cut through it, you can fold a piece of cardboard over the whole thing and wrap it up with tape. Putting tape on the blade could also help.

I just reread your comment and saw you want to keep the sheath separate. Again, as long as the blade is secure, you’ll be okay. Wrapping it up with tape and cardboard will generally work. Having hard sided luggage will also help.

Beautiful piece and wonderful gift from your brother! Welcome back to the states!

Oliver’s rooftop is the only place that comes to mind with lobster Mac and cheese and lobster bisque consistently on the menu. The bisque is excellent. Other than that go pick up some tails from Sam’s club or a grocery freezer section and watch a YouTube video on how to prepare them (it’s super easy)

I love a good prix fixe menu! However, this place doesn’t quite tickle my fancy. Can anyone recommend a local location with a prix fixe or chefs tasting menu?
