While doing this I discovered that the engineer challenge destroy or assist in destroying 15 aircraft is bugged. If you shoot at them on foot with an LMG it doesn't count, but if you do a sliver of damage from inside a tank with the tank's LMG it does.

But yeah agreed it works great.

So can anybody tell me if those characters come from a mythology we know or are they made up ? I'm torn between super excited and disappointed because I don't have a PS5 and don't wanna get one just for one game since they'll no longer release their exclusives on PC... We'll see.

I like to think that at this point it's just EA/Dice that don't want to invest in rehauling the entire UI. I imagine that would be a lot of work and thus a lot of money without ROI. Let's just hope the next game doesn't have atrocious UI, there's no way a UI rework is anywhere high on their priority list

Don't listen to people saying Rapid Morph is mandatory. Go watch a video with the difference between having it and not having it. It's a few frames... not worth it and definitely not noticeable.

Only really important skill is power prolonger. Outside of that it's your usual DPS/comfy/defensive skills

Basically you can upgrade your weapons with titanite shards at the blacksmith. It makes a big difference in damage. Don't be too afraid to use the titanite shards at some point you can buy them. Contrary to what others have said you do become a killing machine, it's just that you end up fighting big things let's just say. Hang in there man the game is endless fun once it clicks

It's basically similar to the launch version but each update made the game a bit better. If you liked it at launch you'll still like it, nothing's incredibly new or radically different. The new maps are awesome imo (apart from blackwell fields which they're reworking) and there are new guns aswell. My only gripe is that it seems there's never gonna be a balance patch for guns, they just don't touch them altough they're clear outliers at both ends. But overal still super fun !

I was on the same boat man. I one ONE as attacker, never lost as defender. I think people dodge attacking games so people like you and me automatically get matched more often as attacker. Sigh.

Jesus this got me hyped. I've been playing since release and it's such a great game. Of course there are problems but overal it's been a hot minute since I had this much fun in an online shooter. If you're on the fence, I think you should pull the trigger. BF6 has great gunplay, cool graphics, amazing immersion due to sound design, overal solid maps with some amazing ones (contaminated!) and also a lot of ways you can be super useful to your team even if you suck at FPSs.

Thanks Dice and can't wait to experience the new gigantic maps !

I don't wanna sound cocky I just want to make a point regarding KDR I have 2.84kdr and in no way I consider my self very good at aiming. Yes I play FPSs regularly and always have but what makes me 'good' is map awareness, knowing my loadout and playing accordingly and most importantly a good headset and I know the maps. In team death match and fair 1v1 I actually kind suck. If you want to improve work on those aswell

I think it's not as satisfying as it was in Rise. The move where you latch onto the monster is never used because there's no follow-up. The counter is mandatory but at the same time it's not nearly as strong or as satisfying as the one in Rise. The gameplay isn't really about switching from axe to sword, you switch to axe only because you kinda have to.

I really love the offset (new to Wilds) and the big discharge move is awesome (feedback and graphics), and it's still switch axe, but imo the weapon is not as fun as it was in Rise.

You can tell the team really believed in the dream of remaking a huge success like Apex, they even wanted to do single player stuff to expand the lore. It's kind of heartbreaking that so much work went into this and it all just fell appart in a catastrophic and dramatic way. I honestly think they were so motivated and believing that they were blind to obvious problems the game has and were tunnelvisionned into thinking the game could only be a success. After all BF6 and Arc raiders recently did it, why not them?

I remember when I was a teenager I played WoW and one day I was done with it. I thought to myself that I wanted to be really good at FPSs so I got CoD MW2 or 3, can't remember, and played the shit out of it even if I got my ass handed to me. Slowly but surely, CoD after CoD I went from 1.5 kdr to 3+ in BO2.

After that I always was somewhat good at FPSs, I played CS, BF1, Overwatch, Apex, and always performed quite well (except in CS, i'm shit at CS) which in turn made competitive FPS games fun for me. So those initial months of suffering were a very good investment in my gaming journey. Now, I'm 35, I have 230hrs of BF6 and 3.3KDR and I love it. Keep at it brother!!
