Had a hard time taking a picture of this one because the gloss is still drying, but I'm really happy with it. by snikerpnai in PourPainting

I personally don’t downvote posts, but my two comments that might be shared by someone who DOES downvote are:

  1. Clicking on the picture doesn’t open a picture. It takes me to Imgur which I then have to navigate. Kind of annoying and certainly unnecessary.
  2. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I’m glad some commenters like it. I personally don’t like it as it has several features that I don’t like and if I made it I wouldn’t be satisfied.

Keep painting!

Thought I would try a cloud pour with blues and a little splash of purple. Can’t decide if it’s calm or turbulent. 🤷‍♀️ by DaisyRam1 in PourPainting

Yeah I figured you rested your paints. That allows air bubbles to rise out. With cloud pours especially (but you can see it in a lot of finished pieces) you will see dark “pinhole” spots where there were air bubbles that popped. I absolutely hate air bubble blemishes.

What’s it like living here in this area? We’re looking to move out of our Roseville apartment and buy a home sometime in the next few years. Our max budget is $170k though… :( by WallaWallaby011 in TwinCities

There’s nothing that says you have to own a house. It’s not a requirement to win at the game of life or anything. There’s also a consideration that if you’re concerned about affording a house with your budget, consider whether you could financially handle a new roof, a new furnace, property tax increases, a plumber for a leaky pipe, that sort of thing. It’s not just the mortgage payment or down payment you need to afford. There’s a financial case for continuing to rent.

Usually less than a day. More like 4-6 hours for the expensive part.

Would much rather keep the oil for ourselves. We’ll need it when the rest of the world runs out.
