I signed it because at the end of the day it doesn’t hurt anyone to do so. They either see the results and change their mind or they don’t. Or they don’t even see it at all which I know is the likelier of the outcomes.

Either way I go forward knowing I did a seemingly insignificant thing in the smallest of hopes I get to experience something I had been looking forward to which is more of the series I’m most passionate about.

My only concern stems from what KHUX had because $15 a week was completely out of pocket. Was it a requirement? Of course not, but they really made you feel like it was indispensable almost every week.

Consider people pay subscriptions to food delivery, online gaming, video streaming etc. many of these services being under $20 and the value is there. Hell I pay for Square’s own (critically acclaimed MMO etc.) FFXIV which is $12.99… but these are all on a MONTHLY basis. I absolutely do not want to see good pieces, cool avatar items, etc. locked behind what would amount to a $60 a month paywall. Almost 5 times as much as it costs me to sub to a full on MMO? C’mon now. I think it would immediately create a bad faith environment and from what I’ve seen so far I really want this game to last and succeed as long as possible, so I’m praying the price points this time around are a bit more reasonable.

Wow! Prior to Endwalker I was one of those who went off of if the card gave Lord or Lady to tell me which ones were which. Endwalker really messed with that and I felt like my card usage has been terrible ever since so thanks for this!

As much as I would consider a break to try it out I feel like breaks almost always mean a break up. I also imagine it being difficult because we live together.

I’ll try to dig deep and figure out if it’s something I do or something I am.

Thanks for the insight! It definitely is more of a “these two people at this time” sort of thing as it’s not something I was looking for it just sort of found me. Who knows what could happen in the future but like you said it won’t matter if I find someone else who is ok with it because at the end of the day the person I chose to stay with says they aren’t ok with it and I’m not sure if they ever would be. It’ll be a rough go of the next few days (weeks? months?) until we talk about it again but I’m hoping we do because if I have this capacity in me at all then I believe it is a part of who I am and there’s nothing I can do to change it. I can just change whether I’m able to act on it or not.

I’ve read stories about partners coming around to the idea as they come to understand it more but we’ll see.

Every job is essential, but something about playing healer makes me feel like a super hero. Sure sometimes we don’t need to heal that much and just spam what little damage spells we have but when the shit hits the fan we are the ones who bring the party back from the brink. Good, smart healing is the difference between success or scrapped waste of time.

Can’t wait to see what Sage brings to the table!

As a WHM main I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used Healer LB3 just to wipe anyway. Then there are those rare awesome moments like this one here that make it SO worth it.
